Chapter 18

*KEYONI'S POV*

We were partying when we heard Hayes screaming Mackenzie's name we ran over to them to see Kenzie on the pavement with her eyes closed.

"CALL THE AMBULANCE!"Hayes yelled Nash took out his phone and called them

"They're be here in a few minutes" Nash said. Hayes picked her up in his arms bridal styles and just cried his eyes out. I heard the ambulance they asked who should ride in the car with her I said Hayes can. They put Kenzie the gurty and left him was holding her hand the whole time. How could this happen.

*MACKENZIE POV*

For some reason I couldn't move nothing but I could hear crying. Was is Hayes? Now I feel bad for making him cry. But I heard sirens I was in the ambulance. Then I heard some people talking. Man did I hate the hospital, so many bad memories. Like the time where I had to be in the hospital for 3 days because my abusive ex-boyfriend Sebastian Espinosa, no he's not related to Matt, beat me so bad I had to get surgery on my wrist.

Anyways I woke up hearing the doctors talking when a familiar voice asked if they can visit now I guess he said yes because I felt a warm right cheek he stared talking.

"Mackenzie I mean Kenzie I know how much you had being call you full name so, babe please be alright. I'll find the guy that hurt you and boy am I going to-" then he stopped I could feel his hand with me hand. I moved my hand. I MOVED MY HAND. After about 2 days in this Hell hole I finally moved. I heard Hayes scream for the doctor.

"What happened?" I female voice asked

"She moved she moved her hand to mine" he said

"You must be hallucinating son she couldn't have she's in a colma" a male voice said

"No I'm not hallucinating she just move look, babe if u can hear me move you right pointer finger" I did what I was told and move my right pointer finger. I heard gasps then I blacked out again. When woke up I could finally open my eyes and shot up I could see Hayes eyes bloodshot red and his North Carolina skin turn pale.

"Babe?" He said standing up.

"Yeah" I said turning to him. He ran up to me an hugged the death out of me

"Babe I can't breath" I manage to get out "how long have I've been out?" when I said that his smile turned into a frown

"A month its July 12" he said I was shocked I couldn't breath.

"Are you ok? are you tired we can cuddle if you want" he made a puppy dog than climbed into my hospital bed and we talked about random things

"Hey you wanna play 25 facts" hayes asked while siting me with him I nodded and went first

"Ok well my full name is Mackenzie Rose Latimore I have 2 older sibling my brother Jacob he's 25 and he lives with my dad and my sister Keyoni. My favorite color is blue, I'm a gymnast and cheerleader and I love Hayes Grier" I said then kissed his rosie cheeks

"Ok well, my full name is Hayes Benjamin Grier I have and older brother and a younger sister Nash and Skylynn. My favorite color is blue. I'm a football star and I'm also in love with Hayes Grier" I punched his arm " jk I'm in love with Mackenzie Latimore" he said pecking my lips. Then I heard someone walk in

"MACKENZIE YOUR AWAKE" it was Matt, Cameron, Nash, Shawn, Carter, Taylor, the Jacks, Aaron and my mom. I hugged them all individually I've missed my mom so much. Then the doctors came in

"Your free to go now ms. Latimore but before you go you have to get a cast on your right arm. I did fell some pain but not that bad, I chose a color which was baby blue and left with clothes Megan chose for me.

When we got home i was surprised with a welcome party when my mother told me that Hayes spent the night for a whole month in my hospital room because he wanted to be the first you saw. I ran up to Hayes and kissed his sweet soft lips

"You do not know how long I've been waiting to do that" I said looking into those big blue eyes of his

"How about a month" we laugh and i thanked him for stay at the hospital room with me. when Hayes walked away to go talk to Shawn for some reason I was pulled aside from some one into my room.

"Well someone got better looking" wait I knew that voice. Sebastian.

"What do you want" I said back away

"I want you obviously" he said walking closer

"Well for your info I have a non abusive boyfriend" I said

"Aww well let's go find this so called boyfriend" he said grabbing my unhurt arm pulling me down stairs. We walked down stair to find Hayes. Found him with Sophia great who invited this whore.

"Hey you" he said pointing to Hayes

"Yeah what?" he said

"Are you Kenzie's boyfriend" he said pointing to me with tears in my eyes

"Yeah who are you? Let her go your hurting her" he said coming to me

"No I'm her new boyfriend so I won't let her go, oh I'm Sebastian Espinosa I think you know me" he said not letting go of me.

*HAYES'S POV*

I was down stair talking to Kenzie when I had to talk to Shawn about singing Mackenzie's favorite song 'Sing by Ed Sheeran' and recorded him singing it for her birthday which is next month but I want to be prepared . When Sophia comes up to me

"I thought I told you to leave and never come back" I said sipping my koolaid

"I know I came to say I'm sorry" she looking down at my feet "I meant every word on your birthday that I want you back but not that way so I'm sorry for being such a bitch to you" she said making eye contact

"It's ok" I said patting her back when some guy comes up to me

"Yeah what?" I said

"Are you Kenzie's boyfriend" he said pointing to her with tears in her eyes

"Yeah who are you? Let her go your hurting her" I said coming to her

"No I'm her new boyfriend so I won't let go, oh I'm Sebastian Espinosa I think you know me" he said not letting go of her.

"What I would never get back together with you" I said punching him in the stomach which was hard.

"Hahah still trying to hurt me I can see. Remember I'm a goalie for soccer rock hard abs" he said tapping his stomach

"Whatever" I said walking torse Hayes because he loosened his grip

"You ok babe? did he hurt you? Let me kiss it" he said kissing the wrist he was holding.

"You can have her she useless anyways" he said turning round to walk away but Hayes turned him back to him

"Your not going anywhere until you say your sorry" he said

"No" Sebastian said with angier

"Well I guess theres only one way for her to fell better" he said I know what he was thinking and Hayes was like a bull compared to Sebastian.

"And what may that be?" he asked with fear in his eyes. Hayes pulled his shirt and my fist met his very pale face. Man did that feel good, he was on the ground knocked out.

"Man was that a wicked punch remind me to never get you mad" he said kissing my knuckles

"Yeah" I said. Sebastian finally woke up and walked home with a black eye. Everyone was looking at me when he was leaving.

"Damn was that Sebastian and who gave him the black eye" Dymond asked

"I did" I said pointing to my knuckled which we bleeding a little.

"Wow gurl you cray cray" Megan said while nudging Ashtown. Alyssa was a little zones out because when I was trying to talk to her she looked sad lost like she just lost her favorite lip gloss in her make up bag.
