Chapter Sixteen
"Dad!" I screamed at the top of my lungs hoping he was at home. I heard a noise upstairs so I walked further into my dads house.
All of a sudden I heard a crash. It sounded like a chair had fallen over. Quickly I ran upstairs into my parents room.
"No!" I screamed out as I fell to the floor sobbing. "No!"
Quinn must have heard me because the next thing I knew arms were being wrapped around me and I was brought into someone's lap sobbing into their chest. I can't believe my father would do that to me. I can't believe he would just commit suicide.

"Aroha, wake up," I heard a voice as a hand gently shook my body. "Come on baby girl wake up," I realized it was Quinn and rolled over to face him.
"Go away I'm sleeping," I said in a whisper pulling the blankets up to cover my face.
"Your cousin is here to see you," he told me as he yanked the covers off the bed. How dare he! The little shit!
"But my cousin is dead," I said tiredly as I reluctantly got up and pulled out some clean clothes to put on.
"Just shower and meet me in the lounge. All you have been doing since your fathers funeral is sleep and you are even ignoring your best friend Rebecca and your half brother"
"Fine," I groaned. "I will get ready if you don't mention them."
"Good," He said as he gave me a shove towards the bathroom in his room. Urgh the stupid boy! Why am I even with him!?
Slowly I walked into the lounge. Man my cousin is dead so who could this person be? Sitting on a couch in the lounge sat a girl with long brown hair that was dyed blue at the ends. She had brown eyes and looked like she would be very tall.
"hi you must be Aroha" she greeted getting up off the couch to give me a hug. "I am Ccean's sister, Loveday"
"Wait!" I almost yelled. "My favourite cousin had a sister and didn't tell me!" with that everything went black.
