Chapter 20

Olivia's P.O.V

I hug Amanda from behind and walk over to the bed, tugging her with me. "Sleep Amanda. You need it just as much as I do. And I have court in the morning." I remind her.

Amanda looks at me. "What are you going to wear to court tomorrow?" she asks me.

"I have a book bag in my locker in case I decide to stay the night at work and have court the next day." I tell her. She nods. I watch as she sets her gun and badge on the nightstand before crawling underneath the navy blue blanket, and grey sheet.

I look down at my gun and turn the safety on. Kicking my shoes off under the bed, I climb under the blankets next to Amanda. She turns over and faces me.

I feel her hand on my cheek and then her lips on mine. I let a quiet moan escape my lips as she tugs on my bottom lip gently with her teeth.

I kiss her lips gently, then pull away.

"I love you Amanda. But I need to sleep." I whisper. "Fine." she mutters. I wrap my arms around her waist and hug her to my chest. She rests her ear on my chest, her arms wrapped around my waist.

Opening my eyes I yawn and stretch. A hand stops my arm from getting all the way down to the mattress. Sitting up I look to my left and see Amanda. Her eyes are closed but she has her arm up, holding my wrist.

I pull my appendage from her grasp and she cracks an eye open. "Close one Liv." she mumbles, closing her eye again.

"Sorry babe." I whisper. She lets out a soft groan. Climbing over her and off of the bed I kiss her forehead before walking out of the on-call room. I round a corner and walk into the locker room.

Pulling my bookbag out of my locker I open it to see what inside of it. Toothbrush, toothpaste, clothes, mouthwash, and deodorant. Closing the bag back up I walk back to the on-call room and see Amanda sitting up on the bed.

"You okay?" I ask quietly. The bed dips as I sit down next to her. "Yeah, I just can't stop thinking about what they said." she whispers. "It'll be okay." I whisper.

I look at her and peck her lips. "Now, I believe you have an appointment to get to." I murmur. She nods. I pull out a change of clothes and quickly get dressed before tying my hair back with a hair tie. Not the most ideal outfit, but it'll do.

Amanda stands up and walks to the other side of the room. On the floor is a plastic bag. She pulls out the contents of the bag and lays them on the bed. A cream colored long sleeved shirt, and olive colored pants. She quickly changes and then I notice the tan boots sitting at the end of the bed. We both pull our shoes on and walk out.

I pat my badge, which is clipped to my left pocket, and shut the safety off on my gun before putting it in it's holster. Nick spots us coming out of the on-call room, and walks over to us.

"Here's breakfast. Liv eat and get to the courthouse." he orders. I nod. He hands each of us a egg sandwich and a coffee. I quickly eat and kiss Amanda's cheek. "I'll see you later." I whisper. She nods.

I get in my car and start the drive to the courthouse. All of a sudden another car rams into the driver's side of my car. My head hits the dashboard and my vision blurs.

Hey loves! I know, that this is supposed to be on hold but I've decided to finish updating this as far as I can. I have many more chapters written out and all of them will be posted TONIGHT. But I am only updating until I can't post anymore because the last chapter I'm working on is unfinished. I will work as fast as I can to get it done but in the mean time... enjoy.
