Amanda's P.O.V
Liv doesn't say anything, just looks at me. She's different. Paler, and more vulnerable. "I'm going to go home to shower, grab something to eat, and I'll be back. Okay?" I ask. She nods. I hug her, resisting the urge to kiss her.
I leave the room without looking back.

I open the door to my apartment, leaving to go back to the hospital. Sliding behind the steering wheel, I feel calm. Liv's going to be fine. I can feel it.
