The Heart Determines

Chapter 1- Introduction

June 10, 2008 [ Senior Year ] (At Polkan Park)

"Can you believe it? In just three days, we'll officially be Leanville High's graduates! -Sigh- Time flies pretty darn  fast....." James relieved. 

"Yeah......Oh! I almost forgot! Happy Anniversary!" I cheered. Then, I handed him a scrapbook. A scrapbook of all the pictures of our memories we had since our freshman year.

"Dang. You really know me, huh? And here's your gift." He handed me a mailing packet, the typical orange packet that you usually see when you get mail.

"What's in it? " I asked impatiently.

"Why don't you look for yourself?" he said with a grin.

In the packet was two applications for college. One for me, and another for him. They were applications to UC Berkeley, and best part was...... we both got in. Wow, I thought. We can both be in the same university! I threw my hands over his neck.

"Where did you find my application? I've been looking for it for weeks!" I cried.

"Three weeks ago, when you were going up to your room , I snatched your mail key and got your mail. And realized your application was there, so why not surprise her?" he smirked.

"What the hell?! Dude I was freaking out like crazy!!!!!! Why in the freakin' world do that!! You son of bitch!" I exclaimed.

"Woah. We got a bad ass over here."

I snared at him.

He got a hold of me and hugged me. 

"I love you."

"And I hate you."

For the remaining time of that day, we watched the sun set and talked a little about our future together. What we were going to do and what the future will set for us.
