Continued from last chapter/ scene......
And just as he turned around, I saw a face I haven't seen............ever since high school.
He looked as shocked as I am. I examined him for a minute, while he looked into my eyes, filled with shock.
"Kevin? Is that you?" I questioned curiously.
"Yeah...........are you Sabrina?" he asked suspiciously.
"Well, obviously....."
"Oh wow, hey! Haven't seen you for years. How've you been?" he smiled.
"Great! I know right!" I laughed.
"Do want to stay here and have lunch together?"
"Yeah, that would be great!" I grinned.
Before James and I started dating or should I say before the 'fall', Kevin and I were the best of friends. Friends ever since the 1st grade, along with a few others too. We would always laugh at his jokes, talk about life, maybe even hang out in the park for a little bit.
But we were just friends. Best friends to be exact. We never thought of our relationship as 'boyfriend and girlfriend'. That would totally crush our friendship. But either way, it all......just....... stopped.
Ever since that fall, I'd been hanging around with James instead of him. Hanging around with James, made me a 'popular' so I'd have tons of friends. I guess Kevin thought I was too cool for him , that I would forget every little moment we had together...........so our relationship........came to an end.
But I'm glad destiny brought us together, to make us realize........to not forget the ones you love in the past. And that though, we're not what we used to be..........we'll always cherish the memories we had, ......forever.
