The rest of Saturday and Sunday went very quickly. On Saturday evening, I had dinner and sat in the living room with Alice and Jasper. Edward and Emmett had gone out with Esme to the supermarket and Carlisle was working at the hospital. I didn't know where Rosalie was, but I think she was in her room, listening to music or reading a fashion magazine as they're the only things I've seen her do with her leisure time.

Alice, Jasper and I watched a music channel, on the demand that I should watch some music videos as I didn't know who any singer was when Alice asked me who I liked. I had said I didn't know any recent singers and Alice had a mini freak out when I told her. Jasper had backed her up, not wanting to annoy his girlfriend, but he did wink at me when she wasn't looking. To be honest, some songs were catchy but most of them were awful and the videos were tedious and the clothes people wore were very revealing. I guess my mother was right; she always said that I was born middle-aged.

On Sunday I just spent my time in my room, frowning a lot as I tried to think up an explanation what the Cullens were. They were all cold whenever I touched their skin, they all had the same golden eyes despite not being related and their eyes can change from gold to black. They had incredibly speed and strength, which I realised they must have as Edward managed to stop Tyler's van from killing me and how he caught me when I jumped off the cliff. I've never seen them eat anything and they're all so pale. They were definitely not human, and I'm going to find out what they are if it's the last thing I do.

Monday morning held no joy for me as I dreaded going to school. It especially didn't help me as I had the dream- the dream of when I'm in the large clearing and I see Edward and his skin glittering like diamonds. I had woken up before Charlie could appear and I knew that tonight I'd see him when I'm asleep.

I dragged myself ungracefully out of bed and went to the bathroom. I showered quickly and brushed my teeth. I changed into dark blue jeans and a long-sleeved purple top. I didn't care what I looked like as I brushed my wet hair and let it hung loosely as I waited for it to dry.

I made my bed and packed my school bag. When I finished, I picked it up and slung it over my shoulder. I looked out the window and signed as it didn't look like it was going to rain.

My type of weather.

I walked out of my room and shut the door behind me before going down the stairs.

"Get out my way!" Emmett yelled as he rushed past me, throwing me against the railings. I gasped as my bruised arm hit the bar and I scowled after him.

"Emmett!" I yelled after him.

He turned when he reached the bottom of the stairs, eyebrow raised. "Yeah?" He said, challenging me.

I shrinked into myself, terrified of what I've done. He'd surely be mad at me for yelling at him. I froze, waiting for the punishment to begin.

"Bella?" Emmett said softly, taking one step up the stairs. I took a step back in fear, my heart hammering in my chest. He looked shocked and hurt for a moment before shaking his head and glancing up at me.

"I would never hurt you, Bella. I hope that you understand that." He seemed to be pleading towards me, begging me to understand him. But this all could be an act; it has happened before with Charlie.

I didn't say anything as Emmett signed and walked out of the house, muttering under his breath. I moved down the stairs as soon as he was out of sight and sat on the floor of the living room, going through my notebook I had. It had a purple spiral pattern on the cover and it contained all of my music creations I developed in my entire life. I looked at the first page and I felt pain in my heart when I saw that it was my mother's creation, Sunshine.
