Miraculous Phantom

Chapter 9

Marinette P.O.V

On our way back to my place, out of nowhere we heard people screaming. An Akuma attack! I needed to transform into Ladybug but Danny was with me. I couldn't just take off. I needed to come up with an excuse and quickly. I just hope that in the meantime Chat could get there and hold off the attack.

"Hey Marinette, let's play a game, called hide and seek. I'll go hide, you count to 10 and come look for me. Start counting." Danny runs off to behind a dumpster. Then a flash of white light appeared from behind the dumpster and Danny flew of towards where the screams came from.

I stood there for a minute confused but then took off to the closest area that was shielded from public eye. I ran behind a building and opened my purse to let Tikki out. "Tikki! Spot on!" I transformed into Ladybug and made my way to where the akuma was.

Danny was busy trying to keep people from being hit with cars. "Guys! Move it!

I showed up to see the white haired boy from yesterday...Danny Phantom, I believe he said his name was. He was helping citizens get away from the akumatized victim. I looked around for the victim and spotted them chasing some people. Someone in all the chaos ran into me.

"Help me Ladybug. I can't hear anything!" Couldn't hear anything? Was that it then? Was the victim taking people's hearing? I waved over to Danny and shouted. "Get them all to safety!"

Danny nodded then multiplied until there were five of him. He then grabbed as many people as he humanly could and flew them to safety.

I quickly tried to call Chat using my yo-yo which had the capability of acting like a Cell phone. He didn't pick up. Where was he at a time like this! I left him a message. "Chat Noir we have a situation happening downtown. Get your tail over here and fast!" I hung up and swung my yo-yo over to the victim. "Hey over here!" I drew his attention away from the citizens that he was chasing.

"Oh Ladybug, I would ask you to hand me your miraculous, but I highly doubt you'd allow it. So I think I will just have to beat you to a pulp first."

"Get real, no one likes pulp any more. I like my Ladybugs without pulp." Danny smiled as if he just came up with the best one liner ever.

"I'd like to see you try. You will have to catch me first!" I taunted him and swung my yo-yo to a rooftop.

The akumatized victim starts chasing after Ladybug. He looked just like a normal human, only with dark blue skin and ears that looked elvish.

All I could think was 'hurry up Chat.' I kept swinging from place to place keep him busy. I was leading him to the bay where he might just make a splash. I tried to get a good look at him at the same time. Where was the Akuma hiding?

"Hey M'lady, sorry to keep you waiting. I had an appointment I needed to keep. You miss me?" Chat said while leaning against a chimney.

"Getting your claws done I see." I laughed and playfully winked. "You showed up at a good time. He seems to be after people's sense of hearing. Strange I know."
