Miraculous Phantom

Chapter 20

Adrien P.O.V

I lunged at Hawkmoth, as Danny cut all of the shadows in half.

"Dad! Stop doing this! You have to free these people from the pain you are causing them!" only Danny seemed to notice and gave me a sideways glance

"Adrien?" he looked at Ladybug who, was reassuring the Dupen-Cheng's and then back to me and smiled. Why? I don't know.

"Adrien?" My dad looked at me shocked. "But I am doing this all for us. So we can have your mother back."

"I would rather her not come back, if that means that I don't have to watch people suffer anymore. So please stop this!"

Just then it looked like he was just about to surrender, he hesitated and then regained his composure as if he got a bunch of confidence. As he looked at me with new conviction in his eyes, a group of ghosts led by one who looked to be wearing a metal suit.

"Come with me my brethren! We must put a stop to Dan's reign of terror by defeating his past self! Or at least take our frustrations out on him."

"Looks like the pawns are here!" Hawkmoth said as a bunch of Akumas flew up into the air and possessed the ghosts. All the ghosts started out looking like they were in pain. Then they all got this dark purple aura around them. "Now my new minions! Join forces and take the Miraculous' away from these two!"

Marinette P.O.V

After convincing my parents to leave and find somewhere safe to stay, a large group of akumatized ghosts surrounded me. "Akumatized ghost's now Hawkmoth? You are getting desperate aren't you."

"Guys watch out! Some of these ghosts have weird powers!"One took a swipe at me but I blocked it with my yo-yo.

"All akumatized victims have weird powers."

"Well just be careful alright?!" Danny cut down a few more ghosts. Making them fall to the ground.

"Make sure the akuma's don't get away!" As I yelled to Danny a akumatized ghost appeared and hit me in the back with something. I whipped around and hit them with the yo-yo.

It seemed like more and more ghosts were appearing. We were getting backed into a wall with them coming at us in all directions. We needed to hurry up and purify the akumas, so we could defeat Hawkmoth once and for all.

"Chat above you!" I called as I saw one coming after him.

Chat looked above him and swatted it away just in the nick of time.

Skulker came from behind and grabbed me by the throat and lifted me up in the air. "Oh would you look at this, I found a great little prize for my master. he grinned. Then got blasted by a sound wave, letting me go. I landed on the ground and started coughing for air.
