Chapter 6 Susan

        
     6:00 am Susan wakes up and rolls over to her sleeping husband who currently is snoring, she giggles and gets out of bed. She then takes a shower and gets dressed and sits at her vanity, and looks at herself in the mirror.
   Susan's thoughts:
My hair is starting to grey, my face covered in wrinkles, everything is sagging. Why would Severus want ME of all people why wouldn't he want a younger skinnier  pretty women. 
Reality:
As Susan's thoughts wondered Severus had woken up and had started looking at her, he could see how deep in thought and concentrated she was so he spoke "darling what's the matter." " nothing just thinking about what I have to do today" she lied, Severus has enough on his plate he shouldn't also have to worry about me she thought to herself. "You do not have to do anything today my dear you are simply coming to Hogwarts with me today to- how do the kids say it chill" Severus said with a scrunched up facial expression. She laughed " oh how I love you" "and I you" She then got up and kissed and him and went down stairs.

   Both Susan and Severus apparated to Hogwarts on time for their first round of classes. As Severus taught Susan sat at his desk and watched. She loved to watch him teach,it was fascinating all the students were so polite unlike her students who were rude and ignorant. When 4th bell was over Susan left to go have a word with a good friend of hers professor Minerva mcgonagall. Susan went and came back but what she saw when she came back was nothing but her imagination, but she didn't know that.
   
      As Susan walked in the room she saw a very rather curious seventh year leaning towards her husband, flirting and batting her eyes.
Susan cleared her throat to make her presence known, severus and the girl's eyes shot to her.
"Who are you" the girl said rudely "his wife" she replied with so much annoyance and hatred that Severus was shocked. "You" the girl said shocked "how could anyone like him fall for someone of the looks of you." "THAT IS QIUTE ENOUGH I DO NOT APPROVE NOR DO I AGREE TO YOU SPEAKING TO MY WIFE IN THAT TONE OR AT ALL FOR THAT MATTER GET OUT!" And the scared seventh year ran apologizing on the way out.

    Susan looked at Severus tapping her foot "she needs to go" he said looking at his wife, she however was looking at the floor. "Sussie?"
"Why do you love me? I'm old, ugly and am slowly dieing. You could have that young, smart, skinny and pretty girl but you choose me why?" Susan said through tears. Severus ran to his wife and hugged her and said " hunny I can not explain or tell you all of the reasons I love you it would take more years then I have, and you are just as and more beautiful then the day I met you so do not think for a moment I want anyone else."  He kissed her and their was moment of tranquility.

  Susan wakes up in the middle of the night crying, crying so hard and silent that not even Severus would have woken up if he didn't here her heavy breathing. "Sussie. Sussie. What's wrong my love say something" he jumped up to turn on the light and looked into her eyes. She was  broken, by what Severus didn't know but he was  not going back to bed till he found out. " breathe Sussie breath" Soon the whole family was at the door asking what was wrong, Joanna ,Liz ,Donna and Wendy sat on the bed, while Bella leaned on the wall.

   Susan slowly began to squeak, and then through the sobs screamed "I can't do this anymore!" Bella, Marc and John left the room. "I want to die, I can't keep  pretending like I'm okay I can't do this anymore" Susan cried again. Severus holding his wife to his chest, hearing these words made his heart crumble into a thousand pieces because she is his one and only.
   " I love you" Severus said tears falling from his face. With that Susan's breathing started to steady and her sobs more controlled. " always" she said "Always."
