Chapter 23

<Zach's pov>
It was all happening so quickly! One second I was taking care of Taylen. And now she's giving birth.

I was holding her hand while she was giving birth. She was screaming and panting.

It pained me emotionally and physically to see her like this. For every time she screamed she would squeeze my hands really tightly.

Soon though it was over. The doctors/scientists gave me both of the boys.

One of them had small ears and a tail. His ears and tail were kinda of fluffy. He was definitely gonna be Percy.

The other one though he was something. He had tiny nubs where his antlers should be. He was definitely gonna be Ryan.

They were both crying. I was gently rocking them back and forth to calm them down.

"Look at our kids Tay..." I said it in a whisper afraid that I'll scare them and gave one to Taylen.

She gently carried Percy and rocked him back and forth. While I held Ryan and gently kissed him on the forehead.

"I'm so tired Zach please take Percy from me," she gave him back and immediately fell asleep.

They both opened there eyes soon after. Percy had blue and brown eyes just like Taylen. Ryan had blue eyes. They were both beautiful. I looked at Taylen but then I remembered she passed out. My protective side was immediately active.

"Will she be ok doc?" I know it's normal for mothers to pass out after giving birth but I wanted to make sure.

"Of course Mr.Leathermen it's only natural for her to be tired. Now please give us the babies so that you can fill out the paperwork." I gave our kids to the 2 nurses and they walked out.

I couldn't help but be protective of them. My instincts were telling me to not trust them but, they know what they're doing.

After signing everything I went to check on the babies. They were in a room and were safe. I sighed in relief.

I hope I'm a good father. I promised my past self that if I ever had kids I would spend a lot of time with them. Now it's time to be a dad.
