Chapter 5- Alluring Sweet Scent

Sei's PoV

I felt my head aches as I try to open my eyes. I looked around and to see that I'm inside my room, laying in my bed and my clothes are still the same since that night

T-that n-night....

FLASHBACK

Master Ketsuki tap the side of her bed so I went there and lay beside her. As I lay beside her, she hugged me. I flinch and I think she knows it because she giggled

"Don't worry I won't eat you" she said teasingly "I'll just bite you"

With that, it sends me shivers and my body stiffen

"You know what, I'll tell you a secret" she started then she arrange my position

My back is laying comfortably on her bed unlike a while ago, my back is facing her because I was about to lay beside her. Now I am facing her and when I saw her face especially her teeth, my eyes widened.

She's A VAMPIRE!

A FREAKING VAMPIRE! 

Her eyes are so red unlike before. 

Then the disease that she can't be exposed to the sun is just a lie!

S-she l-lied?!

"Remember the first time that we met? I told you that you're so young and fresh. That's true! But do you know why I told you that you're fresh?That's because of your blood, honey. Every time you pass by or in front of me, your alluring sweet scent of your blood tempted me. Everyday and every time. It tempted me! Even if Zoku told me not to get carried away by my temptation, it doesn't work since it's very alluring so I made some plans to make you like me and I think it did work from how you blush every time I compliment you. It's the first time for me to encounter an alluring sweet scent of blood and it makes me crazy every time I smell it so please let me have a little of your blood Sei"

She pulled me gently closer to her and bend my neck gently then she come closer and closer to my neck until I felt a pair of sharp needle like injected in my neck

I tried to scream but I can't

I tried to make a sound but it won't let me

I tried to move but I can't

I can't move

I can't do anything

As I felt a bit dizzy, I remember Master Funbi

Her eyes are full of worries

Maybe she knows that Master Ketsuki is a vampire. Maybe the words that she whispered are part of the thing that she wanted to tell me. Maybe she wanted to warn me and just stay with her until Master Ketsuki give up from her plans. I should have listened to her and just stay with her. I'm sorry Master Funbi

My vision blurred maybe because of the water in my eyes or maybe it's because I'm getting dizzy

My eyes felt a bit heavy so I tried to fight my heavy eyes but I failed. I did see someone before I let my eyes shut close but it's too blurry to figure who it is. The next thing I know, my eyes are shut

END OF FLASHBACK

I felt another headache so I hold and massage my head. I groaned at the pain then I heard someone came inside my room. I look who it is and it is Shuji-nim with bowl and a towel on his hands

"You're awake Sei!" he exclaimed happily and ran towards me to hug me

"Y-yes I am. Can you tell me what happened?" I asked

"Yes" he answered "When you pass out, Master Zoku saw you and Master Ketsuki sucking your blood so she ran towards Master Ketsuki to stop her and she succeeded at her second try"

"Second try?" I asked confusedly

"Master Zoku said that she can't stop Master Ketsuki at first for Master Ketsuki thought that she was just there to ruin her plan but when Master Zoku told her that you look pale, so pale, Master Ketsuki let go off you and told Master Zoku to take you to your room then she ran to me crying while Master Zoku brought you to your room where my room is just 2 rooms away from you. I sprint to your room since Master Ketsuki told me so. I brought some blood bag to put it to you. Master Ketsuki told me that you are blood O so I put a blood bag O connecting to your arm. Everyone was panicking. I tried not to panic but it didn't work because of the pressure but luckily, Master Funbi made the work and it successfully connected to your arm. We thank her and she just nod and gave instructions that after 2 blood bags you will be fine and you become fine after 3 days"

"3 days?! How many days did I pass out?!" I asked not believing what I just heard

"7 days" he answered

"What the. Really?"

He nods

I just stare at him not believing and it made him laugh

"I know it's unbelievable but I'm telling you the truth" he said assuring me

"Woah.."

"Take some bath then go to the kitchen so you could eat plentifully" he said then gave me a pat and left me still not believing it

7 days....

Really?

I've been asleep for 1 week?

I am currently making my way downstairs to the kitchen when I felt weak

Well, duh! You were in your bed for 7 days, Silly!

Yeah. Yeah! Whatever consciousness 

I was about to step the last 5 step when I miss my step and I close my eyes since I know it will hurt. I expect the pain but no, there wasn't but instead I smell a sweet scent. I opened my eyes and there, I saw someone, holding me dearly

"You should be careful with the stairs, pabojun"

Pabojun?!

There's only one who calls me that!

I look up and saw the coldest expression looking at me

"Sorry and thank you Master Funbi" I said

She didn't speak and just let go of me when I gained my balance. I bowed to her again and proceed to walking downstairs

I was about to step when I felt weak again

I feel a hand holds my arm then they pulled me to them

"Pabo"

I looked up to see who it is this time and to my surprise it's still Master Funbi with a worry face

"Sorry and thank you again"

"I'll help you reach the ground" 

"Pard-"

She hold my hand while walking downstairs. I look at our hands because she's the only one who hold me like I'm a precious thing in this world. She have cold hands but I kinda like it since it reminded me what my grandma told me. If a person have cold hands, it means that they have a warm heart and if they have a warm hands, it means that they are still alive

If Master Funbi have cold hands then that means she has a warm heart.

Hmm. Maybe she do

"Pabojun" she called me that made me back to my senses

"Yes Master Funbi?"

"We got down from the stairs" she informed and I notice that our hands are not holding anymore

I bowed and thanked her then made my way to the kitchen but before I went there, she said these words 

"Be careful"
