Chapter 26- Fixed Marriage
Funbi's PoV
I was a 5 years old full demon when something changes my life and my point of view in my life 16 years ago...
"Funbi" my father called me
Because I'm a good and obedient daughter that time, I went to my father without asking what is it
"Yes father?" I asked/said in a polite way
"You need to dress nicely right now" he said in a soft and nice way
"Why?" I asked confused "Sorry for asking dad"
He shakes his head "It's alright and from now on, you can ask questions to me"
I nod meaning I understand him
"You need to dress nicely right now because we have a guest later" he answered to my question a while ago
"Oh okay" I said while I start to make my way upstairs where my room is but I stopped in the middle of the stairs
"Dad?" I called out to my father
"Yes Bibi?"
"Is Ketsu-nee going to wear a nice dress too?"
"If she's alright then yes but if she's still feeling sick then sadly no"
"Oh okay but I wish she's okay so we can dress nicely together"
"I hope your wish will come true"
I smiled at the thought of me and Ketsu-nee wearing dresses together so I walked upstairs faster so I could check if Ketsu-nee is alright. I opened my door and it revealed a nice and cozy feel from it
"Ketsu-nee" I said softly while I tap her shoulders lightly
She groaned a bit
"Sorry for waking you up" I murmured
"Bibi?" she asked as soon as she opened her eyes
I nod with a nervous smile
"What can I do for you?" she asked as she sits down on the bed we share
"I'm just going to ask if you're feeling alright right now" I answered while playing with my fingers
She nods "Why did you ask though?"
"We're going to dress nicely right now because there's a visitor later" I said happily
"Ah I see" she said then she smiled a bit "Let's get dress then"

While waiting for the visitor, we helped my mom to prepare the dinner for today and as soon as we finished preparing the dinner, the visitor came which is the demon king and his son. We greeted them warmly but they just bow which made me hate them instantly. We start eating but it was stopped when the king spoke
"Yuki did you tell your youngest daughter about the fixed marriage?" the king asked
Fixed marriage?
We all looked at him confused but when I read my father's mind, I glared at the king
"What are you talking about?" I asked, angrily
"You are in a fixed marriage with my son, lady Funbi"

3 years later, I went to the demon king's place with my mom even though I told her that I can do it by myself meanwhile she said that she just wants to accompany me because she doesn't like the aura of the demon king when he visited our place and because I hate to make someone worry about me, I let her go with me with my journey
As we reached the king's place, we were greeted by a scary person and that scary person is no other than the demon king
"What is your business here?" he asked, annoyed "If you have nothing to d-"
"Demon king I will to not marry your son!" I said, cutting him off
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" he shouted loudly that the place shakes
"I said I will to not marry your son!"
"You will be a half demon for the rest of your life if you don't marry my son!" the demon king said/cursed "And the person you love will die slowly and will always cry because of you!"
"Curse me all you want you bastard but remember this day!" I shouted "I may look weak right now but when I became a 21 years old demon, I'll beat your ass and you'll beg for mercy from me!"
"Ha! I don't think that will happen!" the demon king laughed evilly "Now I curse you that you'll be a half demon starting today and the person you'll love in the future will die slowly and cry because of you!"
After he curse me, I feel changes with my body and I feel weaker than before
My horns, I can't feel them
My wings, I can't see them
My white hair turned into a gray one
I....I'm no longer a full demon!
"Ha now that you're a half demon, you can't save anyone!" the demon king declared
"What did you do to her?!" my mother asked/shouted angrily
"She doesn't want to marry my son so I curse her" he said with a smirk "The curse will be remove if she married my son"
"You jerk! There's so many girls out there! Why her?!"
"Because she's the one that my son likes among the girls he met!"
"That's an invalid reason!!!"
"Talk back and you'll get killed!"
"You-"
"Mom stop it!"
My mom looked at me and there's tears rolling on her cheeks
"I'll be fine" I assured her with a smile
"But sweetie!"
I smiled again at her
"Tch. Drama~ drama~" the demon king said
"Hey demon king!!" I shouted at him
"Don't you dare 'hey' me, peasant!" he said angrily
"Remember this," I started "I'll replace you and your son in the future"
"Ha! Let's see if you can survive in the HUMAN WORLD!"
"Bibi!!!!"
White color filled my eyes..
When I woke up, everything seems so unfamiliar but to my surprise Ketsu-nee is with me
"Ketsu-nee?"
"Bibi you're awake!" she said then she hugged me "I thought I lost you!"
"Where are we?"
"We're in the human world"
So it's real. I did go to the human world from the underworld
"Can you tell me what just happened?"
Ketsu-nee told me everything like how she's with me, how the demon king is super mad and everything that I asked. I'm pretty glad that I'm with Ketsu-nee right now but how can we survive this world
"Ketsu-nee" I called out to her
"Yes bibi?"
"How can we survive?"
She smiled at me then she pats my head "Don't worry about it. You got me and I got you!"
"We got ourselves" the both of us said which made me smile
