This is also the chapter that answers some questions to chapter 24, especially Sei's question why Funbi left without any word

Chapter 25- Don't Leave Me

Sei is confused. She doesn't know what's going on. She doesn't know what her master just said  

It is simple but to Sei it isn't  

There are several layers of meaning
To your words, What is what?

She's been holding Funbi's hand all this time until Funbi remove it by herself without looking and starts to walk away from her which made Sei anxious and scared of what might happen next. Sei holds Funbi's arm, this time Funbi look at Sei but it isn't what Sei was expecting, the person right in front of her looks at her with a cold expression which seems so unfamiliar but familiar at the same time

Instead of getting scared and letting Funbi's arm go, Sei hold it tighter like how she hold her tears back. Funbi then holds Sei's hands that is holding her arms which, on the other hand, made Sei hold Funbi's hand with her free hand because she's afraid of letting Funbi go

"Don't..." Sei pleased with heavy breathing and her voice cracking "Don't leave me" 

Funbi then holds Sei's hands tightly before planting a kiss on her forehead which made Sei calmed down a bit

The more time flows, the more it deepens

As soon as Funbi planted a kiss on Sei's forehead, she remove Sei's hand instantly and went to the guy that have been waiting for her

The tears that Sei have been holding for too long, flowed without her noticing it. She was just staring where Funbi and the mysterious guy was standing a while ago before they disappeared

Funbi just disappeared right in front of the person that loves her in a blink of an eye

If everyone is confused of what's happening a while ago, there's one person whose not and that person is no other than Ketsuki, Funbi's big sister. She knows who that person is because he's the prince that has an unrequited love for her little sister. She tried to save her little sister by killing the prince but she failed because she can't get close enough to him and everytime she gets close to the prince, she gets scars. Zoku even helped Ketsuki but it's no use, the prince is too powerful but she promise to herself that she'll save her sister from the demon king's cruel curse

I'll definitely save you
You are not alone

Funbi doesn't want to leave Sei but she has to. She needs to. She needs it because she's stopping the curse that she receive from the cruel demon king

She decided to marry the prince which made the demon king happy and promise that he'll bring her back to her full demon form after the ceremony. After getting married with the prince and getting her full demon back, she feels empty and cold. She feels so lost

The demon king did bring her full demon back but the curse of her loving someone else is not gone because the king said that it will only go away if she love the prince wholeheartedly or if she killed the king himself. She decided to kill the king himself in the first place but she needs to be strong and know the weaknesses of the king so she can kill him easily

Meanwhile, the prince treats her nicely, he even let her see Sei through a big mirror without the demon king knowing but she can't love him because she loves Sei so much

Whenever Funbi check her beloved one, Sei always call Funbi's name every night on her dreams. Her dreams that have been a nightmare to her everyday, every night and every time she tries to get some sleep

Calling me, passing me
Missing all of it, destiny
Even so, it starts the one-way race
Even if we start to separate, that's ok

Seeing Sei cry and mourn for her everyday and every night, she wished that she can rewind the time and start over

Something hurts inside Funbi's chest after seeing her beloved one like this. It's her heart that's hurting

Sei even tried to kill herself but with the help of Ketsuki and Zoku, it didn't happen. Ketsuki and Zoku always remind Sei that Funbi will be back and she still love her which made Sei stop trying to kill herself

I found a reason for living in the present
Meeting you

Funbi, on the other hand, is hurting deep inside

She knows that leaving Sei would be like this but she didn't know that it will both hurt them this much

Funbi left without a word because she loves Sei so much and she's afraid that she'll cry when she say something to her one and only love but she was wrong because it even hurts when she didn't say anything to Sei before leaving

The thought of her crying is now happening without her control but she needs to stop it

She needs to stop crying and be strong

She needs to rescue Sei from the curse of the demon king. The curse of her beloved one dying slowly

I'll definitely save you
