Chapter 16- Special Day

Zoku's PoV

FLASHBACK (3 days before Sei's Birthday)

Now that I'm done with my work, what should I do?

Maybe roaming the mansion would be a great idea. Yeah it would!

I start roaming the mansion until I decided to go to the garden. As I walk around the garden, I saw our butler watering the plants

"Shuji Jibsa" I called to our butler, happily

"How may I help you?" he asked with a smile

"I was wondering lately about this but when is Sei's birthday?" I asked

"Now that you mention it, it's only 3 days left before her birthday" he said looking somewhere

"3 days?! Wow. Time sure fly fast" I said, dumbfounded "Can we prepare a birthday party for her? A surprise one though"

"If you want to then sure. I'll help you" he said with a smile "Tell the others too so they know what to do. Just tell me what your plan afterwards"

"Okie~"

With that I said goodbye and went to find for the others. After some time, I found Funbi sitting under the apple tree, with her eyes close. I try to make fun of her but she opened her eyes and in the end, I got a punch in the arm

"What do you want, shark head?" she asked coldly, still sitting

"I need your help to make a surprise birthday party for Sei"

"When?" 

"3 days from now"

There was silence and only the bird chirping can only be heard

"I'll think about it" she answered

"Oh come on!" I whined "You like her so please help us!"

She opened her eyes and gave me a cold stare "Who said that I like her?"

"It's obvious! So pleeeeeaaassseee~?"

"I'll give you my answer tomorrow" 

I just sigh, defeated but thankful at the same time "Come to my room at midnight if you made up your mind"

She just nods and went back to chill. I left her and start looking for Ketsuki. I went to her room since she's always in her room because she feels tired during day time but it's about to be 11 am so I guess she's awake by now. As I opened her room, I saw her fixing her bed

"Oh, it's you" she said "Good Morning, Zoku"

"Good morning too, Ketsuki" I said happily

"What brings you here early though?"

"I need your help to make a surprise birthday party for Sei"

"Ah yes. Her birthday is 3 days from now on, right?"

"How did you know about her birthday? How come I don't know?"

She giggled first after answering me "Just ask the person, silly. Even Funbi knows it"

"Eh? Funbi knows about Sei's birthday?" I asked, surprised while she nods while giggling

I was so flustered because I look so stupid right now well I always look stupid when I talk to Ketsuki

"So are you going to help me?" I asked

"Of course!" she said happily

I smiled gladly knowing that she'll help "Well, I'll see you later at midnight at my room"
