Chapter 10- The Real Reason

Ketsuki's PoV

Flashback

I keep walking back and forth on my room because I can't think straight because Funbi keeps giving me the cold treatment since the incident with Sei

Sigh. I should apologize to Sei first for what I did then to Funbi

I opened my door then search for Sei

Where could Sei be?

Maybe she's in the kitchen?

I always notice that she's always in the kitchen ever since she came here but sometimes she's in the garden, sleeping under the apple tree Funbi grows. Yes, Funbi did grow the tree she always go and spend her time alone

As I check the kitchen, I saw Sei back hugging Funbi, I guess

Sei let go of Funbi but Funbi hugged her face to face with a smile but that smile fade when she looked at me

I flinch as she gave me a cold look that seems like a death glare 

"Why are you here?" she asked through mind

"I have business with Sei" I answered "and also with you after"

She just gave me a slight nod then I heard her asked Sei "Would you leave again and chose her?"

"What do-"

"Call her name right now" she said through mind

"Sei" I called to get her attention and she looked at my direction

I didn't hear any respond so I spoke up

"Sei, I...I have to tell you something" I said shyly "In private"

She didn't respond at first but when she asked something, it made surprise and feel nervous at the same time

"Can Master Funbi come along?" she asked

"Why?" I asked confused

"She told me that we'll be doing something afterwards" she answered then looked at Funbi who is looking at her "Right Master?"

She didn't respond at first but then she nods then beamed a smile at Sei

Funbi coming along won't hurt so why not? And it will also be safe if Funbi is with Sei so I won't be tempted by Sei's blood again

"Okay she can come along" I said "Please meet me at my room" then I left

I waited for the both of them in my room until I heard a knock. I opened my door and let them in

It was a long silence

"Aren't we here to discuss something?" Funbi asked through mind that got my attention

"Yes that's true but Sei's blood is tempting me again" I answered through mind honestly

"Don't or you'll regret it"

With that I sighed heavily

"Sei" I called out

"Y-yes Master Ketsuki?" she asked nervously

"I'm sorry for sucking your blood, intentionally" I started "I didn't mean it to be tempted by your blood because when I taste it, I felt like I am in ecstasy. It was very tasty and sweet so I couldn't stop sucking that I forgot that I am actually sucking your blood and not other person's"
