I feel so lost in my own mind. The only thing I can feel is Peter still holding my hand. My senses are in over drive. I want to say his name. To call out for him to wake me up. Then I remember, Jagger. I don't know him. But I must've loved him to some degree if we were engaged. It's time to discover my secrets.

I was 14 years old and walking to science class when I bumped into the most alluring boy I've ever seen. He was new to my school and was roaming the halls completely lost.

"Sorry I bumped into you my name is Jagger, Jagger Valentin. I'm new here."

"That's quite alright, I'm Lily. What class are you heading to Jagger?

We ended up being in the same classes and spent the rest of the day together. Jagger and I were fast friends and soon he gave me the worst case of butterflies. I made him blush slightly every now and then.

It was two months after we first met when he told me that he was a vampire.

"Why would you wait to tell me this long Jagger?!" I screamed at him furious he kept something like this from me.

"Please forgive me. I didn't know how to tell you and I don't want this to get in the way of our friendship."

"You are actually 14 though, right?"

"Yes, I was born into this world and a pure vampire."

"Jagger your species doesn't matter to me. I'm not even human..." I waited for his reaction. His blue-green eyes lit up and went wide.

"And you have the nerve to yell at me." His expression turned sarcastic as I rolled my eyes. Jagger continued,

"So, what are you?"

"I'm....a dragon...but I haven't transformed yet. I'll probably change when i'm 16 or something."

"Wow, that's awesome. But now that we have that out of the way let's grab something to eat. I'm so thirsty I could drink a....dragon."

I rolled my eyes at his corny attempt of a joke,

"Whatever, but seriously, I'm starved. I could eat a whole colony of bats."

Jaggers eyes went wide and he playfully pushed me away and ran. We chased each other for about an hour before we actually went to eat. After that we took a night walk through the park. We sat on a bench and talked about who knows what but all that was on my mind was how good it felt to have his hand over mine.

*

another month went by before we had our fist kiss. It was on the same bench we first held hands. The feeling from the kiss was enough to stop my heart for a few seconds. We looked into each others eyes in amazement and kissed again but with more roughness.

*

a week after that we had our first date. We spent the whole day together. Ate breakfast at iHOP, went ice skating, small picnic at the park on our bench, small boat ride, and a luxury dinner that took two hours. I was amazed at how much we had to talk about. Jagger even got me a gift, which I didn't except at first. But he kept pursuing and I finally opened it. It was a jeweled red necklace that old ancient but new at the same time.

"It was my great-great-great-great grandmothers. Her husband had it made for her right after he met her. They lived together in matrimony for almost two centuries before they met their end together. I want you to have this because it symbolized their happiness together and they were together for a long time. Honestly, I want the same for us, not the dying part but you know what I mean."
