Peter Pan's Point-of-View

I just can't get over the fact that Lily tried to distract me like that. Ok, she did distract me. I think something else happened in her dream and she won't tell me because she's afraid of my reaction. Lily's different from the other girls that's been here. She belongs here. I can feel it....all the Lost Boys can feel it. They look up to her. Unlike the other girls, she hasn't tried to flirt with the other boys, killed one of the lost boys, spied on us for the faries or mermaids, or tried to kill me. She is trustworthy. Though she's had a few scary moments, she's....she's....she's what I need. Ever since she came hear, I haven't been as anrgy as I had been.

Lily's making a difference. Even though she doesn't know it, she is. Her soul is becoming a part of the island. When she got upset a few days ago, the weather changed so quick. She belongs here....with me.

*************

I sat in my tent, on my bed, Lily hadn't returned yet. Since I had the chance, I pondered over how I handled her display. I liked how she thought about finding a way to distract her opponent. My only dislike of the notion is that if her opponent isn't me, I don't want nobody to see her like that. She'll have to come up with another way to distract her opponent. Using her femine charm is handy, just not in battle.

Lily has become a part of everyones lives here in the short time she's been here. She's become my anchor. When I saw that fairy talking to her, I wanted to kill him right off the bat, but just knowing that she was there kept me in check. When that mermaid had her in her grasp, I almost completly lost it. Almost killed every single one of those mermaids. But my focus was on Lily. She was hurt and that's what my mind wrapped around. I want to keep her safe and teaching her to fight and control her animalistic instincts is the least I could do. Just then, Lily walked into the tent. Her clothes wet, she must've washed in a clearing.

"Peter?"

I looked at her.

"I'm sorry about the whole 'distraction' thing. I won't try it again."

good, I thought.

your're mad at me Peter, aren't you?

no. i just don't think it'll come in handy except in practice. you really took me off my guard.

"Peter be honest. I think that maybe I should stick to weapons combat rather than hand to hand. I know I'm great with weapons and hand combat is my....weakest technique, but which do you think I would stick with in an actual battle?"

"You have to learn hand to hand combat. Weapons aren't always present in battles. Say you lose your daggers or your bow is broken and there's no more arrows. Then what? You'd be killed and I don't want that. Now, using your feminine charm was a good strategy-"

"It was...but your overall reaction took me by surprise. I won't be using my 'feminine charm' like that anymore."

"But you should. Just not like you did today. Try short sleeves, shorts, show a little skin; like just below your navel. Be suttle with the distraction."

"Yeah. So Peter."

"Huh?"

"I think I'm ready to tell you everything that happened in my dream.....so long as you don't lose your temper, and don't lie, I know you are a loose canon."
