[Chapter 4]

Yoongi listened to Chaeyeon while she explained what happened few hours earlier. Yoongi clenched his hands in a fist as he became silent, trying to calm himself down. After when Chaeyeon was done explaining, she lowered her head down as she quickly wipes off her tears.

Yoongi lets out a huge sigh as he sat up straight.

"You're not working there anymore. I want you to quit that job." - Yoongi

Chaeyeon looks up at him.

"No. If I quit that job then everything that I do there is useless. I may not be able to fight back but at least I'm not running away from my problems." - Chaeyeon

Yoongi kept quiet as he stared deeply into her eyes.

"You do know that we don't belong there. Those people that work there is higher than us. They will keep criticizing you no matter what." - Yoongi

"Well then I have to show them that I'm strong enough to face through all their criticisms. I'm not backing down just because of what happened earlier. I've went through worse than that, trust me." - Chaeyeon

Yoongi averted his eyes as he hesitated at Chaeyeon's decisions. After minutes of thinking, he finally turned back to her and nodded his head in agreement.

Jungkook was lying on his bed, thinking about Chaeyeon. He don't know what's wrong with him but somehow these days, he can't get Chaeyeon off his mind. As Jungkook was lost in his world, Mrs. Jeon knocked on the door and walked in while Jungkook sat up and leaned against the headboard.

"RyuJin and Mrs. Shin are coming here tomorrow to have dinner with us. Make sure you dress up nicely." - Mrs. Jeon

Jungkook sighed.

"Mom? Why are you and Mrs. Shin spending so much time together lately?" - Jungkook

"We're friends, it's normal." - Mrs. Jeon

"I hope you're not planning on engaging me and RyuJin. You know I hate that." - Jungkook

"I know sweetie, but sometimes it's for the best." - Mrs. Jeon

Jungkook gave her an expressionless stare.

"Mom. You tried engaging me to someone before." - Jungkook

"And yet you're still single because I knew you were too young for that, but now you're 20 Jungkook. You should start taking responsibility in taking your father's spot in the company and giving us an heir for the Jeon family." - Mrs. Jeon

Jungkook kept quiet as Mrs. Jeon walked up to him and sat down on the bed beside him.

"I don't want to be engage to RyuJin mom. I want to be engage to the woman that I love and want to spend the rest of my life with. Not with the woman that I was forced to." - Jungkook

Mrs. Jeon sighs deeply as she held onto Jungkook's hand in comfort.

"Fine. I won't force you into marriage with some woman that you don't know. But if that day do come, I want you to know that it's really necessary and that I need you to understand." - Mrs. Jeon

Jungkook nodded his head as both mother and son exchanged hugs.

Chaeyeon was walking into the building until she was stopped by Manager Bae. She bowed down to Manager Bae in respect as she looked back up at her.

"I don't want you to work today. You were called to go to the Jeon Company." - Manager Bae

Chaeyeon arched her eyebrows.
