[Chapter 10]

Yoongi was helping Chaeyeon putting Mrs. Min into bed as Yoongi was now kneeling on the ground, making sure that Chaeyeon was fully asleep. As Yoongi was watching over Chaeyeon, the doorbell ringed making Chaeyeon flinch in her sleep. Yoongi didn't want Chaeyeon to wake up as he quickly walk to the door, only to reveal Jungkook.

Jungkook was also surprised to see Yoongi in front of him as Jungkook darted his eyes in the house, looking for Chaeyeon.

"She's not here, if you're looking for Chaeyeon." - Yoongi

"I just want to make sure that she's safe." - Jungkook

"Why? Afraid that she'll do something stupid after when your mother in law came by to visit?" - Yoongi

Jungkook frowned.

"What are you talking about?" - Jungkook

"Chaeyeon told me that Mrs. Shin came by and told her to stay away from you." - Yoongi

Jungkook lowered his eyes as he thinks to himself to how did Mrs. Shin find this place and why is Mrs. Shin doing this. Just before Jungkook could speak, Yoongi spoke first.

"If you really care about Chaeyeon, you should leave her alone from now on. The more you stay near her, the more she's going to cry. As a brother, I don't want to witness her suffering." - Yoongi

"Yoongi. If you just give me chance to proof to you .. to everyone that different level of classes can be together and live together happily." - Jungkook

Yoongi stood quiet as Jungkook sighed.

"Let me proof to you that I really do care and love Chaeyeon the way she is and that I'm never leaving her like how her father did in the past." - Jungkook

Yoongi sighed.

"I know that you care and love Chaeyeon, but I can't risk her going through the same pain over again. I can't risk losing another family member just because of the word love." - Yoongi

Yoongi then closes the door on Jungkook's face as Yoongi leaned against the door. He then walked off to Chaeyeon's room only to see her deeply asleep. He kneeled on the ground once again and pulls the blanket up to cover her more.

"I hope I'm doing the right thing, Chaeyeon-ah. After what happened to Mrs. Min and my grandmother, I can't witness you going through the same situation." - Yoongi

Jungkook clenched his hand when the door closes on him. He angrily walks to his car and drove off towards Mrs. Shin's house. When Jungkook got to their house, Jungkook harshly slammed the car door shut and charged to the house. Jungkook walks into the house without permission from the maids when RyuJin saw him, walking up to her.

"Jungkook? What are you doing here?" - RyuJin

"I asked him what's his business but he just trespassed in." - Maid

"It's okay. You can go. I'll take care of it from here." - RyuJin

The maid walks off as RyuJin and Jungkook were now facing each other.

"What are you doing here?" - RyuJin

"Where's your mother?" - Jungkook

The tone in Jungkook's voice startled RyuJin a little as she hesitates to speak.

"Sh-She's in the backyard." - RyuJin

Jungkook then charged towards the backyard as RyuJin follows behind. Once Jungkook saw Mrs. Shin, his hands were clenched into a fist as he tries not to hurt an elder. Mrs. Shin stood up from her seat as she saw Jungkook and RyuJin walking up to her. The smile on Mrs. Shin's face faded once she saw the expression written on Jungkook's face.
