If Not You, Then Who?

So change of plans...

I've been here for two months.

Why? Because I basically live here now. Anytime I told them I should leave, they kept me here. And I willingly stayed but with caution.
I told them I felt I was overstaying my welcome. But they gave me a deal: I teach them English.

Since the time I've been here, Jimin has gotten good. As well as all of them but it seems Jimin was the most motivated (not to mention Jungkook too).

As I sat here with Jimin for the most difficult lesson, I realized something...

Min Yoongi's absence.

I always seem to notice this on random occasions. But it is much more frequent now. It's not like he was out of the house. No, he's just cooped up in his room doing whatever he feels.
But I managed to store the thought away and focus on Jimin right now.

"There was no sign of a dis-dist- uh..." he looked at me.

"Disturbance." I slowly pronounced.

"Disturbance in the woods. I thought I should be safe to go outside, but I was soon suffo-cah-ted by a hand." he smiled. He was understanding.

I rubbed his back. "Suff-o-cay-ted. But very close. Good job, Jimin."

"Thank you. Can we take a break now? I'm tired from all this reading." he politely asked with a small smile.

I agreed of course. He's been working hard this past week. Which is definitely admirable.
So we both sat on the couch and watched some TV. I realized another way of learning a new language is by using subtitles on television. So even when we were on break, he still learned but in a relaxing way.

Jimin let me pick which show to watch. And of course I picked The Vampire Diaries.
And a couple episodes in he was able to recite what they were saying and understand some things.

"I'm a ripper, Elena. It's what I do."

He looked at me for reassurance that what he was saying was correct. I nodded and his smile grew.

We enjoyed an episode more until Jungkook came out. He was wondering what we were doing. His face dropped a little when he saw us so close together.

"Annyeong." Jungkook said shyly to me.

I waved halfheartedly. "What's up?"

"Just want to talk to Jimin. If that's okay." He shrugged.

Jimin excused himself and walked off with Jungkook. I decided to pause the show and wait patiently.

Jungkook:

The time to talk about his feelings was now. He couldn't keep bottling all this up. The only thing was, he was most comfortable speaking to Jimin about this. Definitely not Min Yoongi given the last encounter. Of course not Arielle... At least not yet that is.

"I didn't know." Jimin spoke. His voice wavered.

Jungkook looked away. "You couldn't have... But I think Yoongi is into her as well."

They both sighed. Neither knew what else to say or do. Perhaps wait it out. But Jungkook was running out of time. He knew Yoongi would sometime peruse Arielle's love. Plus, who else liked her? Namjoon? Jin? Taehyung?
