Since we were young, we had a ring. If it turned red, it means your "soulmate" is close to you. Blue, far way. Green, close yet far. Purple, right in front of you. I've never gotten purple. For me it usually changes changed to Blue, Red, and Green.
I was on line, waiting to order. Still checking at the menu, I spaced out. What if I meet him here? That would be awkward. "Next." A male voice said, startling me. I looked down in embarrassment. While looking down I noticed my ring turned purple, from this I felt my cheeks burn. "C-can I get a salad and a number 2." I stuttered at first but then got confident. I studied his face, youre not so bad looking sir. You're actually very good looking. I noticed his face turning a light shade of pink. After paying the boy, I waited for the food.
"It turned purple." I told my friend after giving her the order. I entered a fry in my mouth stealing it from f/n. F/n was already eating their burger. "Damn... when?" They asked. "Whe-" I get interrupted from a familiar male voice. "When she went up to order." They said. I turned around and it was the cute cashier guy. I looked down at his ring, it turned purple. "Y/n, th-the ring. It's p-purple." My friend stuttered. He sat next to me with a bright smile. "My name is Jisung. I'm on my break now." He said. "Y-y/n..." I said still trying to figure out what's going on. "I'm her friend, f/n." They said since I forgot to introduce them. "Hi, you guys go to Neo High School right?" He asked. "Yeah, im a junior!" F/n said putting a fry in their mouth. "Senior." I said. "Same, I've never seen you there. I've seen your friend around though." He said. He looked at the time. "I have to get going. Do you have anywhere i can text you on?" He asked. "M-my kakao is (kkt id)." I said. He add me on his kakao and left. "You havent ate your salad." F/n said. "Have it pig." I said giving it to them. They happily ate it.

"We should go back to your place." F/n said. "Yeah, i need time to think." I said getting up first. "About what?" They asked. "Everything that just happened." I said.
We got to my place and i sat down on the couch. "BITCH I JUST MET MY FUCKING SOULMATE OMG!" I yelled standing up and jumping around. I grabbed my phone and charged it. "What if he texted you when your phone was off?" F/n asked. "Thats why im charging my phone." I said. My phone started going crazy with notifs.

After school, i met up with Jisung. The date went well and we had a lot in common. It was like we were soulmates... oh wait we are!
