Chapter 4

Mira's Pov
This had been my millionth mission Jaba had sent me on since the day I became his number one bounty Hunter. Which was 3 years ago. Now I'm 18 and he lets me go on even more dangerous missions.

He asked me to do a lot of strange things which I didn't feel were right but he asked me to do them and the mighty Jaba is always right.

For this mission he sent me to hunt down the leader of a poor tribe that owed him some money. He wanted me to bring him back dead or alive. Didn't really matter to Jaba.

I quickly ducked behind a tree and peeked at the village. It was very small and there were tiny huts all around. I tried to find the leader. I knew he would obviously be the one that was best dressed. Sure enough I saw him exit a hut. I quickly took out my blaster and set it to stun. I knew he would be worth more probably alive. I fired a shot and watched him crumple to the ground. I was an excellent shot. I pulled out my lightsaber and storm through their little village then I grabbed him. His race were very small. Then I ran for it cutting down anyone in my way. Before any of them could figure out what happened I was gone.

"Oh mighty Jaba, I have done your bidding." I placed the prisoners on the floor.

After a short argument which was quite boring Jaba ordered Jango Fett, another bounty Hunter of his, to shoot him, which he did.

Then some servants dragged his body and tossed it into to 'The pit' where Jaba kept his prized possession 'The Rancor' (sorry if it's spelt wrong.)

"You have done well again." Jaba congratulated me quite impressed.

"Thank you." I bowed.

"I have another mission for you and Jango. I got a special request to have Padme Amidala dead. You two up for the task?"

I looked at Jango. "What are we waiting for let's go!"

After we were in hyper space on our way to Coruscant Jango spoke.

"Are you even a bit scared?" He asked.

"Maybe a little, but not too much."

"You do realize we are attacking a Senator in the capital."

"Oh right."

"It's the most heavily enforced part of the Galaxy, and there's only two of us." He said looking at me worried.

"Yeah, but we'll be absolutely fine. I'm sure no one could stand up to you." I teased.

He laughed and playfully punched my arm.

Jango Pov
I had never been scared before when on a mission. I wasn't scared for myself No no. I was afraid that Mira would be hurt. Ever since the day I met her she's been making me nervous she's always sending chills down my spine. My palms get sweaty. It wasn't until about a year ago I understood why.

I had been visiting a good friend of mine and she told me that the reason why I felt like this was because I was in love. I couldn't believe her at first. I tried to convince her and myself I wasn't. But the more I did the more sure I was that I was indeed in love.

Finally we exit hyper space and passed all the security checking. Then we landed our ship and quickly climbed out.
Then we hid atop a building.

Mira's Pov

"She should be passing this way any second." Jango informed me.

Sure enough there she was.

We quickly set up the explosives and the ship (or whatever) exploded. But when the smoke cleared we realized it was a trick and that we had killed the wrong person.

Jango was furious and started firing at everyone.

I quickly pulled him down.

"Are you crazy?! Come on we need to hide somewhere and make another plan." I hissed at him.

After we found somewhere to hide out Jango and I did come up with another plan.

"This one had better work." I murmered.

Obiwan's POV
Anakin and I had been called to Coruscant to protect Senator Amidala which the last time I had seen her was the Queen of Nabo.

Once we landed on Coruscant we went to the temple to greet the masters then we headed to her apartment.

Once we entered she seemed overjoyed to see us.

"Obiwan! It is good to see you again!" She exclaimed hugging me.

"You too, Senator."

"And is this.... Ani? You're all grown up!"

He shifted uncomfortably. "Yeah."

After I told her we would protect and I bit of glaring at Anikan's rudeness we set up her apartment to maximum security, although she would cover the cameras in her room. So we left R2 with her.

"I've programmed him to alert us if there be any trouble." Anikan informed me.

Then we waited standing ready for another attack.

Sure enough I felt danger in the force and I supposed Anikan did too because he jumped into her room and onto her bed and cut down two work like things. Then we saw someone speed away on a speeder. I immediately went after it.

After a lot of chasing and life threatening situations with Anikan we caught her and tried to question her but when we did she was shot with some sort of dart and died. We quickly looked up and saw Jango and some other bounty Hunter with a mask over their face disappear behind a building.

"So much for that." Anikan said kicking at the dead body.

Jango's POV
We were on our ship headed back to Tatooine. I looked beside me and saw that Mira had fallen asleep I her seat. She must have been exhausted. I noted how even more beautiful she looked when asleep. Then I remembered Jaba. I quickly commed him.

"All mighty Jaba." I said in a soft gentle voice so as not to wake Mira. "I am sorry to report that we could not complete the mission there were some complications...."

"What?!" Jaba fumed half out of anger and out of shock.

"I can't talk now we're heading back to Tatooine we should arrive there in a few more hours."

Jaba started to say something but I quickly ended the call.

Mira's Pov
I was having a peaceful dream but to me it seemed more like a memory.

I was practicing my fighting skills with a boy who didn't seem that much older than me.

"Got ya!" The boy said triumphantly using the force to point a bunch of fake weapons at me.

"Hey no fair!" I yelled then I sat down on the floor.

"Alright alright play time is over guys." A man that was quite a bit older than both of us laughed.

"Aww ok bye, Mira." The boy said. Slowly following the man out of the room.

Then a woman came in. "Come on Mira I don't have all day."

"Bye, Obiwan." I waved then exit the room following her.

"Mira.... Mira... Mira... Wake up."

Wait that's not part of my dream.

I opened my eyes and I instantly forgot the dream. I saw Jango shaking me lightly.

"We're here."
