Barry sat down next to Iris as she continued to talk about her most recent article.
"Hey," said Caitlin, sitting down with them. "Did you know, the singer, Mercedes, is coming to Central City?"
"Really?" said Iris. "Is she doing any concerts?"
"Yeah," said Caitlin. "In the big auditorium by the waterfront."
"Oh, we have to go," said Iris happily. "When is the next time we're going to get a chance to see Mercedes Jones live?"
Barry frowned in confusion. "Why is that name is familiar?"
"Barry," said Caitlin. "She's Mercedes Jones. Everyone's heard of her."
"That's probably it," Barry muttered.
"We have to go, Barry," said Iris. "We have to!"
"Ok!"

"Iris," Barry wrapped his arms around his wife, holding four tickets to a Mercedes concert in front of her face.
Iris gasped, grabbed them and spun on her feet to face him.
"Barry!" she cried. "These are VIP tickets!"
"Yep," Barry grinned. "I was going to get them tonight, but then when I was in work, Captain Singh gave me them. Apparently him and his husband got them from a friend but they didn't want to go."
"And he gave them to you?" Iris said surprised. "He's hated you ever since Sebastian called him overgrown guinea pig!"
"I know. Apparently Joe was talking about how you wouldn't stop talking about going to see her."
"So he gave you four VIP tickets?"
"Yeah. So there's one each for us then one for Cisco and Caitlin. I did ask Joe and Wally if they wanted to come, but Joe wasn't interested, and Wally's got an exam the next day. And I hardly expect that Harry would want to come. And I'm definitely not inviting Ralph. He would try to hook up with Mercedes."
"Good plan," Iris giggled.
"So, Mrs West-Allen," Barry grinned. "Would you like to go to a Mercedes concert with me?"
"I'd love to."
