Betty and Veronica walked into school hand in hand. They smiled at each other as heads turned and students gasped. They passed Jughead who gave them a thumbs up, a genuinely pissed off Reggie, and Cheryl who stopped them and stood right in front of the couple.

"Faux lesbian dating is so last year girls!" She crosses her arms. "Try something else to get more popular."

Veronica pushed past Cheryl. "The only thing fake here, Cheryl, are your eyelashes."

Cheryl's face deepened into a scowl but she didn't try to stop them.

Kevin came up to them and stood beside Betty. "Finally! I knew you guys were meant to be!"

Suddenly, Veronica spotted him leaning against the lockers: Archie.

He smiled. "You two are cute together." He held Valerie's hand.

Veronica smiled back, "I think you two are the cutest."

Betty leaned over and whispered in Veronicas ear, "I think you're the cutest."

Veronica blushed and laughed. She never felt so happy before. The best part was she felt that happiness reflected in Betty's eyes. Everything was perfect.

Ten years later

"Do you Veronica take Betty to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

She looked deeply into Betty's beautiful blue eyes. She had her blonde hair up decorated with tiny white flowers and her makeup made her look more stunning than ever. She wore a ravishing blue dress that hugged her curves. She held her flowers tightly with nervousness but smiled all the same.

"I do."

"And do you Betty take Veronica to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

Veronica took in the pause and noticed the rustling of the guests. Both of her parents sat in the first row, taking in the wedding of a lifetime for Riverdale and their families. Of course there were boycotts - Cheryl's parents never showed up and Hal was nowhere to be found- but it was all ok to Veronica considering the beautiful faces that were there. Jughead, Reggie, Midge, Moose, Dilton, Ginger, Toni, and even Cheryl were all there. She snuck a smile at the man who walked Betty up the aisle: Archie. Where would they be without him?

Veronica gave Betty a meaningful smile. Betty took Veronicas hand in her own. "I do."

"You may kiss the bride!"

Veronica laughed with glee and put her arms around Betty's neck. Betty pulled Veronica tight against her and kissed her. Their lips moved in sync as the crowd cheered and congratulated them.

"Well, how does it feel to be Mrs. Cooper?"

Veronica smiled, "I could ask you the same thing, babe."

And they all lived happily ever after.
