Chapter three
---Katie's P.O.V---
I wake up happy for the first time in forever. At first I have no idea why but then I remember last night. I don't want to get up so I just sit in be for a while drifting off and thinking about last night. "WAKE UP SLEPY HEAD" screams my sister. I hate how she always does this to me. She runs into my room and tells me that Josh was here. "Oh ok. Tell that that I will be down in a few minutes." I go to my closet and throw on a pair of shorts and a T-shirt. Then I go down stairs to see Josh's super cute smile. 'Oh I love his smile!!' I can tell that him and Morgan are beginning to like each other. Josh asks me if he can talk to me in private and Morgan gets the hint. When she lave she straight up says,"Would you like to go out with me some time?" I am taken back by this but finally I answer. "Of corse I would!" He looks so happy. "Good cause I thought that you would say no." "Why would I say no to you?" He laughs. Just then Morgan comes down stairs.
"Are you two done yet?" She asks. She seems serious but both Josh and I laugh. "Ya we are done." Answers Josh. "What happened if I can ask that." "Josh and I are dating now. Are you ok with that?" Morgan looks at Josh happily and smiles. "OF CORSE!" She exclaims. I wonder if they were talking about me before I came down stairs.
---Josh's P.O.V---
I am so happy to get that off my chest. Even more happy that she said yes. Morgan was helping me get the confidence to ask her. I thought that she would say no because she liked something else but to my surprise she said yes. After Morgan was told what happened she looked so happy. She Is such a great sister and friend also she gives awesome advice. Katie and I go out for a walk around our neighborhood. She stopped me for a minute and says,"Why do you like me?" I have no idea why she would ask that. "Well you are beautiful and super cute. Also nice and funny. There is so much more to you but it would take forever to name all of it." I say. I can see that she is blushing and smiling. "Why do you like me?" I ask. "You are super cute and I love seeing you smile. Of corse more but I can't name them all." She says. I smile. "Just wanted to hear you say that" I say. We are back at my house and I pull her inside. "I want you to meet my parents" I say.
---Katie's P.O.V---
'His parents?! What would they think of me?' I just say,"Ok." Then he pulls me inside. His mom is cleaning in the kitchen and his dad is watching T.V. "Hey mom, this is Katie!" Josh says. 'Oh I really hope they like me!!' "Nice to meet you. I have heard so much about you." His mom says 'He talks about me all the time?' "Nice to meet you too" I say. We then go into the living room. He has a huge house. "Dad,this is Katie. We are... Umm... Dating." He says looking down. "Oh that's great. You better hold on to this one" he whispers loudly so I can hear him. I blush. "We are going to go up stairs." "Ok"
We go into his extra room upstairs and there is a couch, bean bag chair that is huge, and a projector so that you can watch movies. "Want to watch something?" He asks. "Ya just pick out what you want I really don't care what we watch." He puts in some romance comedy and comes to sit with me on the bean bag. We watch the movie for a while. I feel the darkness take over me and I rest my head on his chest.
