Chapter four
---Katie's P.O.V---
I feel him lift me up bridal style and carries me to the guest room. I a partly awake but I still don't see everything around me. All I see is him. I want him to stay with me. "Please stay with me." I manage to say. "Always." he tells me before he climbs into bed with me and I fall asleep.
I wake up and don't know were Josh is. I get up and run down stairs to see him in the kitchen making breakfast. I sneak up on him and give him a kiss. He turns arounds and kisses me back. "What are you making?" I ask. "Oh just some breakfast for the girl I love." he responds while smiling. I sit down at the table and wait for a few minutes. He comes over with a plate full of eggs, bacon, and toast. Along with a glass of orange juice. 'Oh I just love how he thinks about me all the time and does cute things for me..' I think. His mom comes down and sees us and says good morning. She then walks out the door and Josh explains that she is going to work. She works in a bakery so thats how he learned how to cook so good.
Later that day I ask him if he can teach me how to bake. I cannot bake at all. He agrees and we make a cake which I decorate. I was kind of getting the hang of it when I turned on the blenders and most of the batter splattered up onto both Josh and I. "Great I actually thought I was doing good there for a minute!" I say sadly. "You were but we have time to make it better. Come on let's get the stuff out to make more batter." He says.
After we bake the cake and I have decorated it, we eat some and then wrap up the rest so that Morgan and our parents can have some later. When we are cleaning up I splash Josh in the face with water and he looks playfully mad. "Uh oh!" I yell. "You better run!" He screams. I run around trying to get away from him. All the while screaming like a little kid. When I see that he isn't right behind me, I run and try to hide in the closet.
---Josh's P.O.V---
I am chasing Katie when I decide to slow down a bit to let her get a little farther away form me. As I turn the corner I see her quickly hide in a closet. I act like I haven't seen her though as I walk by. "Katie where did you go?" I ask even though I know where she is. I act like I am walking away but hide behind the door so that she won't see me when she opens the door. I see her open the door a bit to make sure I wasn't there and then she opens the door all the way. "Boo!" I yell as she turns the corner. I can tell she is seriously scared for a minute and then she starts laughing. I pick her up before she can run off again and bring her to the couch.
We sit there for a little while watching T.V. until the sun starts to set. "Hey let's go and watch the sun set!" I say. "Sure I have always loved sunsets." She tells me. 'Just like I do' I think. We go and stand out on the porch that lies over the road. There is such a great view from here and I am so happy that I can see it with her. She is just so perfect...
