You brought out the best in me,
A part of me I'd never seen.

A girl who was lost —
and needed someone,
to desperately be her ground.

But —
You really hurt me,
you really did.

A pain so deep,
in the pit of my stomach —
clenching my fragile heart.

That day you and I had part.
Moving on with our lives,
Ignoring our hearts.

And I'm not over it —
I keep wondering,
when will I get over this?

You left me all alone,
Without any answers,
you shut me out.

At that moment—
I realized,
I almost lost myself,
again.

Looking back,
We both made mistakes...
but you —
you were the one that,
walked away.
