Regina's eyes went wide as soon as she heard her mothers voice "Mami" Regina jumped off Emma's lap and rushed to her mothers side. No matter how bad her mother treated her,she still loved her mother and wanted her other approval even though deep in her heart she knows that she may never get it, but that doesn't stop her from trying."I'm here mother." Cora looked at her daughter with sorrow in her eyes. "My sweet girl, I am suret hat the doctors have told you whats going on. I'm dying." A sob ripped out deep from Regina's chest. "No mother, I've already lost Daddy, I can't lose you too. Please stay with me. I know that I haven't been the perfect daughter, but I can't lose you!" Regina cried holding her mothers hand. That statement threw Emma off guard,how has she not been the perfect daughter, because she is Gay? That doesn't make any sense to Emma, but it's not Emma's place to say anything so she just stayed quite. "My daughter, though I do not approve of who you socialize with,, you have been a wonderful daughter, I just wish I had seen it earlier. I love you, both of you. Zelena, I wish that I would have treated you better. You are a beautiful young women that I couldn't be anymore proud of. You both are the daughters that I have ever wanted. And I love you both so very much." Cora mills said with tears in her eyes. "Mother, your talking as if you already know that you are going to die, you can't talk like that. You have to fight. You have to!" Regina just cried even harder. "Baby, as much as I want to fight, there comes a time when we just have to move on and so to speak give up, I've been fighting this for a long time. Years to be exact. I'm done fighting.That's why I need to see you, both of you! I needed you both to know how much I treasure you and how big you both were in my life, My love, I know that I was hard om you growing up, but it was because I saw the potential that you had, and I wanted you to follow in my footsteps, but when you decided to go with teaching, instead of supporting, I basically turned on you and made you feel like you had to push me away. And for that I am sorry. Zelena, where do I begin with you, I am sorry for making you feel like I didn't want you, I did, it was just hard, you reminded me of a part of my life that I was ashamed of, and I took that out on you, and that wasn't fair on you. I should have made you feel more welcomed into this family and for that I am truly sorry. I just hope that both of you one day can forgive me for everything I have done and said to the both of you!"Cora said barely  being able to keep her eyes open. "Oh, babygirl one more thing. I hope you and Emma find happiness in each other."

    Both Emma's and Regina's eyes went wide. "Mother, how could you possibly know about that?" Regina asked curious of what her mother had said. They have been very discreet There was no way that her mother could have found out about them. "Sweetie, I've known for a while. Plus I can see that she makes you very happy. I saw the way she held you while you cried, She truly loves you, and that's all that I want from you is for you to be happy. Emma?" Cora motioned her focus to Emma. "Yes Miss Mills?"Cora laughed, ""Please dear, call me Cora, OK?" Emma nodded her head. "Please, if I don't make it, please take good care of my daughter, I haven't seem her happy since..." Cora looked at her daughter with so much sorrow and regret in her eyes. "Well, since along time ago. It's good to see the light of love back in her. And i hope it never goes away." With that very statement Cora closed her eyes and fell into what everyone in the room thought was sleep until the machines that were hooked up t her started singing a cruel song.Regina looked up and feel to the floor. "No, No She can't leave me." Just them the doctors cam in. "I need them out now! Come on Cora, I'm not letting you go just yet, you have to fight, fight for your girls! Breathe Damn it!" Was the last thing they heard before being thrown out of the hospital room and told to go wait on the waiting room. Regina just sat there looking at the ground tears freely falling from her eyes. "Come on sis, we have to move."Zelena said while trying to grab Regina's arm but Regina wasn't listening to her. Emma stepped forward and tried picking Regina up but Regina slapped her arms away and just started crying sobs coming from her throat. Emma picked her up bridal style even with Regina trying to fight her. Eventually Regina gave up and went limp in Emma's arms. They made it to the waiting room and Emma sat down in those uncomfortable chairs and sat Regina on her lap Regina curled into Emma and cried until she feel asleep.
