It's been exactly week since Emma andRegina broke up and neither one of them are taking it very well,Regina had gone back to school hoping that it would be a gooddistraction from her what she called her very lonely life. Emmahasn't left her bed but to go to the bathroom and shower when her mommakes her. "Mary, how long do we condone this, she needs to go tschool. It is her senior year. She has already missed a week ofschool she can't miss anymore if she wants to pass." "i knowDavid, but this is her first heartbreak. I just want to make sure sheis alright." It's Wednesday morning. Regina has been at school sinceMonday. Emma knows that she has to eventually go to school and faceRegina and today was the day. Emma got up and got dressed in blackleggings and a red over sized sweatshirt and her red converse andgrabbed her bag and made her way downstairs. "Hey sweetie, going toschool today?" Emma sighed. "Well I can't avoid it forever."Mary Margret gave her a weak smile. "That's my girl, want me togive you ride?" Emma shook her head. "No, ruby got a car and sheis picking me up today. I love you, she is here!" Emma walked outthe house and met ruby out front. "Nice car Rubes." Emma saidwhile trying to smile. Ruby and Belle knows what happened betweenMiss Mills and Emma, but they know not to ask Emma how she is doing.First class went by far to fast and now she was on her way to theclass that at this very moment she wished was canceled but she knows that willnever happen. Ruby met up with Emma before class started and theywalked to Regina's class together arm in arm. Ruby got Emma to laugh at something that Granny did at the diner earlier that week. Whenshe was with Ruby and Belle the pain from the breakup faded just alittle bit. When she walked in her heart broke. Regina looks likehell. She still looks drop dead gorgeous but the light in her skinand her eyes turned dull. Regina breathed hitched in the back of herthroat when she say the blonde wavy/curly hair and just looked atEmma with sadness in her eyes. "nice to have you back Miss Swan"Regina said with a slight bitterness in her voice. "Well, if it wasup to me, I wouldn't be here Miss Mills, but I need to graduate toget the hell from this place." "Well, Miss Swan, I guess you getto stay here a little longer, because your language just earned youlunch detention." "What ever" Emma said now glaring at herformer lover. "Now you always have after school detention too, wantto go for more?" Regina asked with a bitchy attitude in her voice."No," Emma said cold heartily "No, what? Miss Swan!" Emmasigh and rolled her eyes "No Ma'am" Emma said and cocked her headto the smile and gave a fake smile and quickly turned it in to frown.She walked away and sat next to ruby. "Don't let her get you toyou." Emma just nodded her head. "Class, you have a whole periodto write about something that you are pationate about. This is due bythe end of day no exceptions. Get to work" Regina said lookingstriaght at Emma. The class flew by so slow all Emma could do isstare at Regina, even though she truly tried not to. She finished herstory in like 15 minutes. It was about a princess and how all shewants to do is die. Yes Emma was depressed but she never once has she thought about killing herself. But her story is her way of getting all of her feeling out. When the bell finally rang Emma bolted out ofthe room so fast.

Lunch time came around and Emma decided to skip her detention with Regina, she just couldn't handleit today so she went to lunch with Ruby an Belle. "You know shewill come looking for you right?" Belle said. "Fuck her let her!"Ruby said with a smile. "I don't care if she looks for me, the lesstime I spend with her alone the better." Emma was joking with herfriends when she heard someone behind her clear their throat. "MissSwan, did you forget you had lunch detention?" Emma shook her head."No, I just didn't want to go." Emma said and looked Regina deadin the eyes. "Well Miss Swan, you won a whole weeks worth of lunchdetention. And if you skip one ill write you up and you will besuspended!" Emma was getting mad. "No, you know what that will doto my grades, my chance to get into a good college!" Emma got loud."That is not my problem Miss Swan, now lets go. Before I call theprincipal." Emma grabbed her stuff and made her way to Regina room.A place that one time brought so many happy memories now they've allturned sour. Regina opened the door and Emma stepped inside and wentto the desk furthest from Regina's desk all the way in the back andpulled out a notebook and started drawing. :Miss Swan..." Reginasaid. "Miss Swan" Regina finally got up and walked to Emma. "MISSSWAN" She yells and grabs the notebook. Emma jumps up "What thehell, you have no right to touch my things anymore!" Emma yells.

    "again, language, and I calledyour name multiple times!" "I know, I heard you," "Oh so youwere ignore me?" "Yup, what's it to you, I am nothing more than astudent to you remember. Isn't that what you told me?" Emma questioned. "Y-y-yes but I think we need to-" BING! "Well, talk about being saved by the bell." Ruby had entered the room. "Come on Em, lets go." And with that Emma ran as fast as she could to ruby and they left the classroom with out even glancing back.

It's been a week and Emma has served her detention quietly. She won't even talk to Regina. It's it's making Regina furious. Before the bell rang a young girl walked in the glass long brown hair and toned skin and well toned everything. "Are you Miss Mills?" She asked. "Yes dear I am, who are you?" "I am Vanessa, Mr. whales told me to come and serve my detention here as he had a family emergency. He said he texted you!" "Very well. Find a seat and be quite." Regina said as she watched her move to the very back and sit next to Emma. Regina say the way Emma looked at this Vanessa girl. It was Regina's worst fear come true. Emma leaving her for a younger girl. But. How can someone leave when you told them to go in the first place Regina thought to herself. "Hey, I'm Vanessa. What's your name?" "Emma, Emma Swan" she said with a smile on her face! "There is no talking  Miss Swan!" Regina said raising an eyebrow at Emma. Emma just looked down and kept doodling on her paper. She was supposed to be doing homework but got bored.  After about 30 minutes Vanessa spoke up! "So, after school, want to go grab a coffee at granny's?" Emma smiled and nodded her head. "That's it Miss Swan, grab your things and move to the front. I would truly hate it if I had to give you more detention." Emma got up and say in the front of the class. "Well Miss Mills, if you truly would hate to give me more then just don't!" Regina was getting more and more furious, "miss Swan, I have had enough of your attitude this past week." "Well I am sorry that I am just a child remember." "Emma, I am sorry that I said that. I didn't mean it!" Just then the little bell on her desk went of. "And with that, I am off, Vanessa, ready to go to?"Vanessa jumped up linked her hands with Emma and they went on their marry way to their class!
