My Teacher

Chapter 24

         Emma woke up about 2 hours after Regina. She looks up and smiles seeing Regina looking down at her."Good morning, how did you sleep?" Regina asked. "eh could have been better but it was ok knowing that you were by my side. Have you been up long?" Regina smiled. "Only a couple of hours." "Why didn't wake me?" Emma asked getting angry for some reason. she wanted to be up with Regina. "Because dear, you needed the sleep, and don't raise your voice at me young lady" Regina said with a stern voice. Emma rolled her eyes and sighed. "Stop treating me like I am a CHILD!!!" Emma yelled at her. "You are a child.... " Regina eyes went wide Relazing what she had just said. " wait Emma I didn't mean it. I swear." She regretting saying that   as soon as she saw the hurt in Emma's eyes. Emma just had tears in her eyes. threatening to fall "Just get out," Emma said softly, tears starting  "Baby please-""don't.. . just leave. I don't want to talk to you right now." Emma said the a more strict voice. With that Regina got up with tears and left the room walking right passed MM without saying a word "Hey Regina, what's wrong?" MM asked her put she ran right passed her and got into her car and drove to her house. As soon as she got in her house and closed the door and slid down and held her knees to her chest and cried.

MM walked into the room to find Emma curled up into a ball and crying. She quickly runs to her daughters side "Hey, whats wring baby girl... does this have to do with why  Ms. Mills running was past me crying?" Emma just looks up and looked at her mom. "I don't know what you are talking about!" She said and her mother is not buying it. "Emma please.. you love her don't you?" Emma shook her head. "I'm just a child... I don't know what love is."Emma said sarcastically  MM looked at her. "What are you talking about.. Emma I know you.. you love her, I can see it.. and I am pretty sure she loves you too. More than a teacher should love a student. Look, please tell me the truth." Emma just looked down. I cant lie to her. "I do love her mom, but I'm pretty sure I just blew it." MM sighed. "Tell me what happened!" Emma looked at her mom. Was she serious? Should she really tell the truth.  "OK... I woke up to her awake and asked her why didn't she wake me up and she yelled at me saying I needed the sleep and told me not to raise my voice at her and I told her to stop treating me like a child and she told me I was a child so I told her to leave... I'm  pretty sure I messed up mom..." MM nodded her head.She didn't like the fact that her daughter was in love with her teacher, but she sees ho happy she has been with her around. "Look Emma, I am not happy with what's going on. frankly I think it's really inappropriate that you two are together.  I don't like the fact that you are in love with her or the fact that I am pretty sure she is love with you... and I am not saying that I'm ok with it, but she makes you happy,  and i know if i say no you are just going to go behind our backs and do it anyway. so I guess I have to learn to live with this. They're discharging you so I want you to go to her and make up. Even if you say you ruined it, you can't leave things on bad terms." Emma shook her head. "I just can't do that right now. Maybe when I go back to school I will. Can we just go home?"Emma said in a distressed tone.  MM nods and gathers her things and go homes with Emma hand in hand. When Emma gets home she goes straight to her bedroom and just collapses on the bed and lets her sobs come out not caring how loud she gets.

Time Lapses 2 weeks

Emma still hasn't been to school, hell Emma barely leaves her room, and Regina is getting worried. She has called and texted her several times, Emma of course watched the phone light up and watched it go back to a dark screen not answering. Regina tried calling her one more time that morning but quickly put her phone away as students came into her classroom. She watched them as they slowly filed in. Regina  got a glimpse of blonde and she followed the glimpse till she got in her seat and sure enough it was Emma sitting in her normal seat."Welcome class, Emma how nice to have you back in class. You've missed a lot of work so I would like you to stay behind so we can discuss how to get back on track with you. Yes?" She waiting for the blonde to make a sign that she heard her. All she got was a weak nod, so very little movement  that if you weren't really paying attention you wouldn't have noticed. She told the class to work on their assignments and she waiting for the class to end so she could talk to the one person that she wanted. The bell rang and everyone got up including  Emma. Emma  tried to make a b-line to the door. "Emma." Emma ignored her. "EMMA" Miss Mills said said with more bass in her voice. "MISS SWAN I WILL NOT ASK AGAIN" She yells and that finally gets her attention. "Yes Miss Mills." Emma said with coldness in her voice. "Please Emma talk to me." Emma rolled her eyes and sighed.  "Why, why would you want to talk to a child?"Regina had tears building in her eyes. Regina got up and  closed and locked the door. "Look, I am very sorry for what I said, I shouldn't have said that. You are not a child. If anything I was in the situation, I should not have yelled at you. I should have just talked to you and explain that i thought you needed your sleep more than being up. And I am sorry and I understand if you don't want me as your girlfriend anymore-" "Who said I didn't want you to be my girlfriend?" Emma asked. cutting her off "I just thought because of the fight you didn't want me t-" She gets cut off by Emma kissing her and kissing her hard. Regina was shocked but reacted to the kiss and kissed her back just as hard. Emma pulled back. "Just because we got into a fight doesn't mean I don't want you, couples fight it's what they do but then they make up. And that what this is. I love you so much Gina... these past two week not talking to you have been hell... I've missed you so much... I should have talked to you about it and why it hurt me so much, my whole I've been viewed as a child but with you I felt like I wasn't being treated like one and then you said that. I guess it just brought back some bad memories and I shut you out and I am sorry for that it's what I have always done when people or things hurt me, but I am trying to work on that."

   Regina didn't care where they were,she pulled Emma into a long hug. "I love you very much dear" Emma just smiled and hugged her harder. "I love you too, with everything in my heart." the bell rang and they quickly puled apart. "You need to get to class, young lady, thank you for staying back and talking to me." Emma smiled "Any time Miss Mills." Emma said with a smirk and walked out her class. Emma spent the rest of the day with a smile on her face.
