I wake up to the beeping sound I fell asleep to. I'm still holding reis hand . I sigh and look up at her. She looks so pale and .... dead. I look down and my tears start to slowly fall down my face. I take a breath and feel something squeeze my hand. I quickly look up and see reis eyes squeezing shut and her squeezing my hand . I stand up really quick and call for an doctor or a nurse. They come in reining towards her and check everything . Everything's all normal. Rei opens her gorgeous blue eyes and she looks so scared and hurt. She dosent see me by her and tried to get up really fast but it hurt her tummy cuz of her stitches . (This was after surgery babes). She looks over and sees me . "Jesse?" She whispered . "I'm here rei. I'm here"I whispered back to her. I stood up still holding her hand . "Lay with me please." She says . I look into her eyes and see she's really hurt. All she needs now is some comfort . I lay down very slowly trying not to hurt her. She slowly lays on my tummy and holds both of my hands in her
small ones. I smile thinking and knowing she's gonna be fine . I kiss the top of her head . She stirs a little and looks up at me . She smiled and then it faded . What was she thinking of that could take away that gorgeous smile? "What's wrong rei?" I asked her. "Um nothing jess" She says back while she turns back to face the tv. I hear that she's in pain . I feel so bad about what happened to her, she has no idea about how badly I feel bad . I tap on her shoulder and she looks up again. "Hey tell me what's wrong rei" I tell Her. She takes a deep breath and starts to talk. "I'm scared Jesse. Idk what to do. I'm injured and if someone tries to hurt me ,I can't do anything about it cause I'm already hurt. I wished I died in the wreck. Jesse I ..-I -I love you ...." She says scared at the end. Why would she want to die in the wreck though . She's perfect . "Hey don't say that. If you would've died in the wreck it would had killed me rei. I care about you so much . You don't know how bad I feel bad about this situation. I love you too rei , more then you'll ever know . I won't let anyone ever hurt you In any way ." I say back . A tear falls down her face and she smiles. I wipe the tear away and pull her in , I put my hand on her cheek and kiss her. I hear the heart monitor go off like crazy. I smile in the kiss and I felt my cheeks get warm. I pull away and look at the monitor ,her heart rate was at 150 . I look back at her and her cheeks were so red . She lays back down on my tummy and holds my hands . I hug her body lightly cause I didn't want to hurt her and kissed the top of her head. "Get some rest rei." I whispered to her and her eyes slowly shut . I soon enough fell asleep to. I dreamt of her and the future I want with her, but probably never get it .
