"Where are we, Doctor?" I inquired, poking my head out of the library as he walked by. He was a little startled when I made my appearance. Wearing only a pair of swim-trunks and a towel thrown over his shoulder, I concluded he was heading for one of the pools, "Or rather... Where are we headed?"
"The... Um... planet Vashtii," he rubbed the back of his neck. His face was going a bit red and I felt mine doing the same, so I did the only wise thing in an awkward situation like that.
I slammed the door in his face.
"Sorry," I reopened the door after a moment, "Just needed to recompose myself there."
"Hmm," he grunted, leaning against the wall opposite the door, arms crossed, patiently. All hint of a red face had long since vanished and it was replaced with a look that proclaimed him to be deep in thought.
"So... Um... Off to the pool, are we?" I mumbled, squirming under his gaze. It almost certainly had nothing to do with me, but I couldn't help feeling like I was the mystery behind his furrowed brow... And not in a good way, either.
"Yeah," he snapped back into his talkative self, at least, but he still had that pausing thought on the back-burner... I could tell, "I didn't realise you were ready to go travelling again. Have you seen the entire TARDIS, already? I could make a few more corridors of rooms, but I'm not sure I can really think of anything I haven't got at least one of. I don't think I've got a courtroom yet... You could help me design a court room... What do you say?"
"Actually," I declined, "I was going to go to the kitchen to get some food... I keep getting lost every time I try to find it. I can locate every room in the entire Spime machine, from the control room to the spare extra five car garage, but I can't find a bloody kitchen for the life of me."
"Seriously?" he gave me a look that said 'I am seriously tempted to laugh right now and I don't know how much good manners is gonna have control in a moment or two.'
"Yes," I growled.
He snickered, offering me his hand, "Come on... I'll take you to it."
