"It's snowing!" I giggled, dancing around in the falling precipitation, "It's actually snowing out here, John! Come look at this!" The Doctor's look-alike, John Smith, came rushing out after me, wielding a thick coat.

"Are you insane?" he demanded, "Put this on!"

"I've missed you, Doctor," Rose stated, idolly standing next to him.

"Yeah... You too, Rose," he agreed, awkwardly.

"So... She's your newest companion, then?" Rose clarified, gesturing at me, "Seems a little bit... Not your usual choice."

"She's a Time Lord, too, Rose," the Doctor dropped, casually, "But that's not even the biggest part."

"What could possibly be bigger than that?" she demanded.

"Remember how I told you about the Last Great Time War?" the Doctor stated.

"Yeah... You said it was against the Daleks, right?" Rose clarified.

"She was on the enemy's side," the Doctor mumbled, watching as I stuffed snow down John's shirt as he tried to force me to put on a coat, "Worse than that... She WAS the enemy's side. The whole war might have never happened had it not been for her."

"Oh my god," Rose comprehended.

"I've forgiven her for it, though," the Doctor continued, "Or at least... That's what I told her. It gets hard sometimes, though. Sometimes, I want to just strangle her... Sometimes I want to take her to a sun and just toss her into it. Take a weapon of some kind and kill her, watch her regenerate, point out every flaw with her newest form and then kill her again."

"So... Why haven't you?" Rose questioned, "It's not like she doesn't deserve it."

"I know," he sighed, "But if I killed her, that'd make me no better than she is. Also, I know what it feels like, waiting for what feels like eternity for someone to forgive you... Even if there's no one left to do so. As much as she deserves to die, Rose... I couldn't kill her. Not ever."

"That's what I always loved about you, Doctor," Rose gave him a sad smile, "You were always a better man. Where most people would fail, you stood strong."

"Oi! Lover-boy!" I cried, holding a snowball in my hand, "Think fast!" I threw it straight at him, but he ducked and it hit Rose instead. Me and John burst into snickers, but it soon became fear when we saw the determination in her eyes.

"This is war," she announced, grabbing the Doctor by the wrist and dragging him away to make a fort.
