Theo POV
After the attack Richard told us Nikki and Inez already ran back. Thats good, if something happened to my Inez I'd lose it. We arrive and I look around but can't see her.
"Hey, Baxter! Did Inez and Nikki make it back yet?" I ask. He shakes his head.
"Why? Did something happen?" he asks.
"Yeah, we got attacked and Richard told us they ran ahead." I say. He shrugs and looks around. "They're not here? Your sure?"
"Yes, I was on watch all day and nobody came back." he says. I look to Jason and Eric who look really freaked out.
"Okay, lets ask Richard, maybe he knows something." I say. They nod and we walk over to Richard who's on his cellphone? We're in the woods, how the hell does he have reception?
"Yes, it was easy to get my sons back. I told them she ran back to camp. No, we left them there of couse." he says. Left them there? "No, we're gonna do this, my sons will never make a Beta the Luna of my pack. Just bring your girls down here and we make the truce. Okay, bye." he hangs up. I look at Jason and Eric who are abit confused but really pissed. They rush past and stop at they're father.
"Dad? What do you mean 'we left them there?'?!" Jason asks. He turns around and frowns. "What does it mean?!"
"It meant I left your mates to die! You will not be mated with a BETA!" he yells. This takes my by surprise mainly because I thought he liked them and because they're father is a life long friend of his.
"Are you fucking kidding me?! Just because you think of your stupid pack before us!" Eric yells.
"You watch your mouth! I'm still your father and you will mate with the Blood Star Alpha girls to end this war!" he yells. The Blood Stars, from what I've heard have a new Alpha and he has two daughters the same age as Jason and Eric.
"No! Nicole is our mate! I'll reject them!" Jason yells. Richard walks over to them and leans down.
"If you reject, hundreds of thousands of our kind will die in this war, BECAUSE OF YOU!" he yells. Jason looks at Eric than sighs.
"Fine, for the pack and our kind. But your no longer my father." he says before walking away with Eric. I walk away as well and back to my fire. I have no mate. I'm lost and broken. I have no one.
