Nikki POV
After everybody left I lay there, alone and in darkness. I don't want them to see me pass away, not like this. Its funny, thinking about everything I went though with my family.
FLASHBACKS
Meeting Jason and Eric
"Mine." somebody growls from behind. I turn and see Jason with his bright, green wolf eyes. The feeling returns and my starts wolf freaks out. "Your mine." he says again. Oh no, he's my mate. I back up abit but run into somebody. I look up and see Eric with glowing yellow eyes. He bares his sharp canines and steps towards me.
"Mine." he growls. Soon I'm stuck between the two. "Your our's." he says. I gulp and look at my two mates. Two mates! Shit! I back into Jason who rests his hands on my shoulders.
"Hello love." he links. My wolf purrs and makes me rub against him.
"Hi mate." she says. He smiles and looks at his brother.
"Looks like we found our mate brother." he says. No, no! I can't be your mate! Eric smiles and leans in but I turn my head making him growl. "You don't want to anger my brother love." Jason says. I try to pull away but his grip tightens.
"Leave me be!" I demand. They smirk and let me go. "I can't be your mate! I'm a Beta!" I say.
"We know. It makes it more interesting. We'll mate and make you Luna of the pack. Wouldn't you like that?" Eric says. I shake my head and bolt for the front door. I make it out and shift, running as fast as I can to my house, away from here. I can't have two mates! I just can't!.
Sisters for Life
I'm sitting at my desk, messing on my computer when Inez runs in with red, puffy eyes. I jump up and and she rushes into my arms.
"Whats wrong?" I ask. She pulls away and takes a deep breath.
"Theo, his great grandfather is the Alpha of the Blood Star Pack. Well, you knew that. Anyway, he said the because Theo's father is too old, he should take over. Meaning I'll be Luna of our worst enemy." she says. The Blood Star Pack has always been weaker than us but they also never liked us. They always cause problems with us.
"Its okay, we can do something about this." I say. She shakes her head just as Jason and Eric walk in behind her but she doesn't notice.
"And when you become Luna of our pack what will we do than?" she asks. I look at Jason and Eric.
"I'll reject. We're sisters of life." I say. She smiles and hugs me tightly. "Even if it means rejecting my mates."
"No, you can't do that. They love you and you love them." she says. I sit down and sigh.
"But I love you more. You've always been there for me when I needed you. I can't let some stupid conflict rip us apart." I say. She smiles and kisses my cheek.
The War Begins
"One. Last. Time. Give me my son or I will start a pack war." he says quietly. Richard bares his teeth and stands up as tall as he can.
"This is my land, my pack and my choice. He stays here." he says. Danial nods and walks away.
"I here with call on the war. The war between us and the Rose Wolf Pack!" he yells before running off with his pack on his heels. I look at Jason, Eric and Inez. Well, looks like the War has begun.
FLASHBACKS END
Thinking of all the things I've gone through, all the pain, love, hate. Thinking of what my family would be without me breaks my heart. I can't leave them, I won't leave them. I swing my legs off the table, pain raging in my stomach but I don't care. I start for the stairs. I'm not letting go, not yet.
