Nikki POV
I decided to spend some time with Jason and Ryan. Its better for Ryan to grow up with his father than only his mother and her Alpha lover. I do regret sleeping with Luke but at the time it felt so right, like I was getting revenge for them leaving me. Now I feel horrible and I can't even look at Jason nor Eric. Eric spends alot of time with Ryan and he's so tired I told him to go to sleep. I'm walking outside to get Jason and Ryan.
"Hey Jason!" I say walking down the stairs. He looks up and smiles. "I wanna go out with you and Ryan for a while." he nods and picks up Ryan.
"Where should we go?" he asks. I shrug and think for a minute.
"Theres a river not far from here I take him once in a while." I say. He nods and Ryan crawls up to his shoulders which does scare me abit for the fact that Jason's almost 6.3. I'm still only 5.10 but I can't help but worry. We walk all the way to the small river. Jason sets him down and he runs for the water.
"Listen, I think we should talk about how this is all going to work." he says sitting down next to me. I look down and sigh. "I just don't want to have Ryan grow up without me, even if you want that."
"I never said that. I just can't go back to the pack. I don't care about the war, nor what happens. I have my family here and I can't risk them getting hurt." I say. He nods and takes my hand. I've missed his touch, more than anything in the world.
"I won't make you go back but I have to soon. You can bring your pack with, if you want." he says. "I can't just leave but I also want to be around my son."
"I know. Luke hates every pack with a passion and would never come with. He's become such a close friend and I can't just leave." I say. He nods and looks back to a happy Ryan, splashing in the water.
"Mommy!" he calls. I stand up and walk over to him. "You play with me?" he's still working on speaking but its going pretty good. I nod as water splashes me from behind. I turn and see Jason with his hands behind his back while he whistles.
"You're so dead!" I say running towards him. He runs a circle and over to Ryan.
"Jason best." he says wrapping his arms around Jason's neck. I smile and walk over to them. "Jason stay?"
"Ryan? Do you want to know something?" I ask. He nods and looks back to Jason. "Jason is daddy."
"Daddy? Jason daddy?" he asks. I nod and he hugs Jason tighter. "I have daddy now." Jason nods and kisses his cheek.
"And Jason mine." I say pulling him down for a kiss. "Forever," I whisper. He smiles and kisses me again. "Lets play for a while before heading back." We stay out by the river for about an hour before walking back to the mansion. Ryan falls asleep so we put him to bed and sit in the living room afterwards.
"So we okay?" he asks. I nod and climb on top of him.
"Yes, we're fine." I say. He pulls me down for a long kiss. I have my mates back and this time I'm not letting them go.
