Finale

Rey's POV
I pinned my hair up and slipped on my red two piece dress. It was prom night, supposedly the biggest night of a teenagers life. Ben and I had some romantic plans after prom, but I had to shift my focus onto getting this eyeliner on fleek. I thought back to the later part of this year when Snoke and the gang had been prosecuted to jail for Paige's murder and Roses attempted murder, and how after that, Ben and I always had a great time with our friends.
The prom was great so far, I was currently dancing with Poe, Finn, Rose, and Ben. We had taken group pics before and ate out at Mosley Cantina before this. The music died down, and principal Kanata got on the stage.
"Now it's time to announce prom king and Queen. The school has voted and lets welcome on the stage our Prom King and Queen..." she took a notecard out of an envelope.
"Ben and Rey!"
Ben and I rushed onto the stage as everyone applauded. I was crowned with a sparkly rhinestone tiara and Ben with a shiny gold kings crown. He looked over and winked at me as I smiled back. His crown was crooked, which made me giggle.
"Now it's time for the traditional PromKing and Queen dance!" Principal Kanata announced.
Everyone cleared the way as Ben and I made our way to the dance floor. He put his hands around my waist as I rested my hands on his shoulder. A slow song started, as we began waltzing. I looked up into his eyes.
"Thanks for being the light of my life Rey," he smiled.
"Thanks for being my protector and love," I replied.
"I love you, my King."
"I love you, my Queen....."
