The questioning goes on, and from there, we learn what has happened. Jack's been making Rachel make weapon heads, but there are only a few that are done and attached to spears. They are hunting Ralph first, and from what the twins tell us, they are going to wait for the cover of night to come to our part of the island. Then they're going to attack.

The prisoners are then lead out of the hut. Ralph tries to follow, but Cassie convinces him to stay.

"Well, I believe our next move is obvious," Cassie says, looking around. "While their searching for Ralph, we can kidnap some of them, weaken their numbers. We'll grab everything important and move up the mountain by twilight. When they attack, it'll be at an empty camp."

"Why don't we meet them head on and fight?" Anastasia asks. "Make them pay!!"

"Pay for what? Killing people, whipping people? That's not for us to decide, do you want to be like them?" Claire asks. "We're all frustrated, but that doesn't mean we should embrace our own savagery!"

"But you girls out number them, you have a chance at beating them," Ralph says excitedly.

"Yes, but with how many people hurt?" Cassie asks. "They can throw spears somewhat accurately, and even with wooden points, they are still deadly. If we want to become murderers and the murdered, then that would be the course of action. Our weapons are better because they are more dangerous. Besides, no matter what kind of wound it is, there is always the possibility of infection, we've been lucky so far, but if someone does get it, we have no antibiotics, they could die depending on how serious the wound is. This would—"

"Cassie!! CASSIE!!" a voice that could only be Selene screams.
