Cecil The Spy

Chapter 14: Casablanca!

"So, we ditched the boat to walk half a mile somewhere that's unknown..." 

Cecil looks saying "don't worry I feel that a city or town is near. We just have to be patient. Keep your feet moving and take your thoughts off of it." 

In the middle of Cecil's thought, a light seems to gleam from beyond them.  Macy looks and goes "do you see that or is my imagination playing tricks on me?"

"Oh yeah, I definitely see it,"  said Cecil smiling.

Macy begins jumping up and down, running towards the light. The more she ran the more she began seeing the city. Cecil forgetting to be professional he yells "Hey, wait up," as he began running up to her. Macy kicks off her sandals and begins running barefooted on the sandy surface. Cecil finally caught up with Macy as they both ran together. Macy pushing Cecil making him almost fall on the sandy surface made her laugh. Cecil had on a nice black slick suit with some nice dress shoes because Cecil can't go anywhere without looking his best even if it's on a mission. Cecil can't even leave the house without having at least a button-up or collar shirt.  

Almost falling Cecil laughs at himself. When they reach a light post they both looked at each other in the eyes as their laughs began to die down from their shortness of breath. They both began walking to the nearest shop or store. They spotted a shop that sells  Fish Chermoula a dish that had fish and rice in it with spices that are perfect. Cecil and Macy walked in as they take a seat and ask for some assistance. An elderly woman comes up to them asking " what may I get you?" 

Cecil looks over at her saying "Mam, we are not looking for any..." Macy looks interrupting him saying "yes, I would like two Fish Chermoula's with some warm tea please." The lady winks at Cecil saying "listen to the women she knows you well very well. How long have  you two been together?" Macy and Cecil look at each other embarrassed as Cecil goes "no, we are just very good friends," knowing that he was lying. the elderly women go "yeah yeah, that's what they all say, love," as she directed that towards Macy. Cecil then ignores that comment as he asks " If you mind me asking. Where are we in Morocco?" 

The elderly woman gasps as she goes "you don't know where you are? Tourists, I suppose, but even tourists know where they are. Well, this is the great Casablanca!" Cecil looks at Macy again as Macy begins making a confused face. "Casablanca. like the movie Casablanca?" Asks Cecil. "Well yes, sir. The biggest city in Morocco. Now tell me, are you, two Tourists?" says the elderly women. Macy looks at Cecil playfully saying "oh yes, we are defiantly tourists that travel the world and take pictures of beautiful places. We are more like star-cross lovers in secret." Cecil nods coughing saying "yeah you can say that."

The elderly women look at them laughing" you two are definitely something else alright. Your food is almost done." Just as she says that a bell rings and their order is called. "well it's done. Just take a look at that," Cecil smiles as he smells the food coming towards them. " Hey, you know we have this festival coming up tomorrow and I would love it if you two could come." Cecil stuffing his face saying " You see we can't, we are leaving first thing in the morning." The elderly women go " oh well that's a shame. It would make my poor little heart happy if you two could come." 

Cecil tells her " yeah, but..." Macy interrupts Cecil again saying " now wait just a minute love. I think we can make an exception for this nice elderly women." The elderly lady smiles then say "Its a date. It'll be all over the city so just come back here around this time and kick it with us!" Macy smiles saying "Yay!" Cecil looking disappointed say " Do you know where any car dealerships at?" The elderly say " Yeah there's one-two miles from here. If you come with us tomorrow maybe my son here can drive you two lovely couple up there." Cecil looks thinking its better to get  a ride than to walk two miles so Cecil then says"Its a date!"
