Chapter 16: Festival Time

Cecil and Macy follow the elderly lady out to the car, she tells them " The festival will have a lot of food, dance and u just have to wait to see the rest."

Macy asks " well I hope it's all that you say Ms...."

The Elderly lady looks saying " Nature, my parents name me that for some reason, it's a good name. I never thought it fit into I got a lot of comments growing up. Ever since I got older people called me Lady Nature, I like that name more." Macy goes " well I like that name too."

Reaching the middle of the City Macy and Cecil saw people dancing wearing clothes like them. Going in circles around and around random people came and grab there hands as they went around. Lady Nature laughs as she watched them, treating them as if they were her children she tells them to go on.

Their next stop was the food spot where tons of cookers cook their food for the people. Natural encourages them to try at least one of everything.  Macy grabs a Tajine Fish plate while Cecil grabs a Pastilla Seafood dish. They all sat for a while and ate as Lady  Nature told them stories about her life. Macy was all into it while Cecil was enjoying his time but wanted to go. 

After they were finished Lady Nature Brought them back to the music area where they danced. It was an old slow song and Lady Nature asks " Hay my beautiful Tourist, why don't I see two dance. "Cecil and Macy looked at each other and frowned. Cecil tells Lady Nature" Ma, as much as I would, you see..."  

Lady Nature says "One time please,  for me. Don't hurt my old heart." 

Lady Nature uses that excuse all the time and it seems to be how she gets her way, but Cecil was up for the challenge. Cecil looks at her " Lady Nature I think Its about time that I be honest with you. You see Macy and I are really not.."

Macy looks at Cecil knowing what he's about to say she goes " ...not really very good dancers. You see Cecil here has two left feet and can't really dance even if his life really depended on it." Lady Nature chuckles saying "well I wanna see this, let me see these two left feet of yours." Cecil groans walking into the middle of the floor with his hand out. Macy smiles as she walks near him. They both hold hands and begin moving around. Macy was doing a wonderful job but Cecil was moving one foot in front of the other.

 Macy looks down and goes " wow, I was just kidding when I said that, but wow you really do." Cecil cheeks getting red from the embarrassment goes " no- no I can do this. I can dance." He tries once more and fails to move his leg the way it's supposed to be." Macy feeling a little bad for Cecil goes "here let me show you," She grabs his hand tightly and directs him on the way its suppose to be. She tells him " left foot, right foot. You have two feet, Cecil." Lady Natural coming back from talking to a friend sees Cecil and Macy dancing well. She watches them as she sees both of them looking at each other in the eyes, he grabs her hip and hand. She has her arm around his shoulder and her other in his hand. They laugh as they almost get it but fail at the attempt, they try again and again into they get it right. 

Lady Nature looks at them and tells her kids " you see there, that's true love. That's love that has no filters and is raw and natural. You only get to find that in one person and I hope that one day I get to see that in you too. Just like your father and I  was. Seeing this reminds me every time how your father and I  were. Young and dumb... just young and dumb."

Once the slow songs were over with Cecil and Macy walked back over to Lady Nature. She asks them " well are you two ready to go? Because I sure am." Cecil tells her "yes," and they all hopped back into the car. 

Driving back to the shop  Lady Nature gets there clothes out of the dryer. They were sparkly and clean. About to change, Lady Nature looks at them saying " no, no keep it. It'll be something to remember us by. Leaving it on they all hop back into the car and headed to the car dealership.

Once they got there Macy hugged Lady Nature real tight saying " I really enjoy this experience and I hope to see you again."  Lady Nature smiled with a tear coming down her eye saying "There were only two times I really enjoyed this festival and that with my husband that passed and my first time with my two kids. This is just something that I get to add to the list." Cecil trying to be manly goes "well we will have to do this again sometime." Lady Nature looks at him and nod. 

Saying there last goodbyes, Cecil faces the other way with Macy walking in they turn to see a man. 

The man goes "more customers, Its festival day and the night is almost over with." Cecil looks saying " hey and I am sorry for that but please let us rant a car."

The man looks and goes "no deal, now sho.." Macy looks at Cecil as Cecil and the man goes back and forth. Cecil lastly says " I'll make any kind of deal no paperwork." The man looks and says " that's a very good watch u have." Cecil looks down going "not my watch" 

"Watch or no deal," says the man.

Cecil looks down then goes...
