Putting on his black suit and red tie, Cecil looks in the mirror. In walks his mama China, she looks at him and before she could let out a word Cecil tells her "Mama, I know what you are going to say, that I look just like my father..." China smiles and says " of course you do, you remind me of him every day, the good and the bad." Cecil looks and goes " Mama he wasn't that bad of a guy, just made bad decisions." China looks at him then goes "well bad decisions get you where he is now and will be forever...
Anyway, how's the job going."
" Fine I guess, you know I can't tell you things like that, it's top secret." Cecil smiles telling her that. She looks at him and says " honey, I have been in that business for years, I know what it does and what it does to you, don't become obsess with it, or it will take over you and next thing you know your making mistakes and not cleaning up your tracks."
Cecil nods knowing that his mother knows best. China then leads on to ask him " so what is it?" Cecil goes " umm so the mission is about a runaway from jail, he's dangerous like death sentence dangerous. Was on death row, just waiting to have his day. Two days before his time the whole Correction Center went on a riot, probably was a haze to give him a chance to escape with four others. I still got to go to Texas and get the rest of the details, but all I know is that they flee the country already, and the crazy thing is looking into his history, I can't predict his next move." China looks at him and says " wow, that just got me chills. You can't beat all them but mostly him by yourself. You need a partner ask Cornell for a partner, he'll understand." Cecil nods knowing that his mother is right again, she been through all of this and probably even worse for a woman. " I'll talk to the boss ma, and please don't call my boss by his real name please." China laughs and tells him okay. Cecil continues to get ready but this time in the morning.
