Chapter 5: The Corrections Center

After that little visit with that man, Cecil has been on high alert. Near the prison, Cecil takes a deep breath then pushes on the gas. Pulling up to prison the front guards immediately recognized who he was and forwarded him to the warden. Once Cecil met the man that was a big guy with a dark brown beard. He was about 5ft 6. The man with a country voice tells Cecil "now people in here call me Steel, but for you Mr. Cecil if it makes you feel comfortable you can call me Jerry." Cecil nods as Jerry shows Cecil around the prison. 

Finally, they reached Johns cell and it was empty. Jerry gives Cecil time to look around, as he does Jerry tells Cecil " now the day of the riot caught every guard by surprise. It was a plain day like any other plain day, it was lunchtime and two inmates started fighting. It took about two guards to break it up then another one broke loss and one guard from another section had to step in. Next thing you know the whole cafeteria is going down because everyone is fighting. 

Some was bringing out shanks while others were using their bare fist. Once word got out that the guards needed help the inmates that were in other sections started fighting, some attacking the guards' others attacking each other. Some were even doing self-harm. I had to tell the rest of the guards to gas them, which means you know we put on our gas masks and we let the gas out. About an hour or two later we did a body count and found out that five people were missing. John, Lenny, Doug, Fred, and Sam. Now our system might not be  the best but no one has ever escaped this prison, not yet to say five." 

Cecil listens then asked, " so how, how did they?" Jerry goes " well before we let out the gas they and a few others were still in their cells. One witness said they took the roof, another said they just walked out clean handly. The cameras show that they went to supplies room and found the guns and ammo so they are definitely armed and dangerous and the camera also shows them taking the roof." Hearing all that they did definitely tell Cecil that this was a planned task and also someone on the inside like a guard had to be crooked. Things like this just do not happen on a daily basis and also so fast its like they all knew what they were doing.How to get from point A to point B really quickly. Still looking in the cell it looks like Mr. John Wayne's left something very important of his... The journal that can be analyzed and might just lead Cecil right to him.

After leaving the prison Cecil held on to the journal. Calling a lady in the system name Cherry, when she picks up Cecil tells her that he got some intel from the prison. She listens then goes  " so what is it?" Cecil goes "its John's journal I only read about two pages, I'll have someone come or I'll send it to you. Also, did you hear anything about my witness that needed protection?" Cherry said " what witness?" Cecil sighs then go " I don't know, this man gots a low cut, and one gold tooth, so are you telling me that he hasn't checked in?"

" yes, that's exactly what I am telling you there's no man in the system that fits your description, sorry."

Cecil sighs again " well, can you just look him up for me in that description. He's in the Mk gang."

" sure I  will but it'll take about a day or two. I promise I'll get back to you when I have something alright, Bye. "

Cecil hangs up thinking we'll at least this is over with, next stop to the Bahamas.
