You tried to stay calm and avoid all of the nervous thoughts swarming as your brain ran a mile a minute.
"Will, what's wrong!" You and Mike sprint to Will, who's hiding in an alleyway.
"Are you hurt? We're going to take you home," Mike immediately grabs him and you hold his hand, leading him away.
"Holy shit!" Dustin, Lucas and Max dart towards you guys.
"Is he okay?"
"Why do you only care now? We're leaving," you spat out, leaving a bitter taste in your mouth. You didn't want to be rude, but they weren't there for Will when he really needed them. Mike, Will and you leave, heading off to Mike's house.
Will began to explain what happened. You couldn't help but feel sorry for him, you hoped that after he was rescued from the Upside Down, it would all be over for him.
"I don't know if it's real or if it's in my head. But for now, can you guys not tell the others?" He asked, fidgeting with his fingers.
You and Mike both nodded, and you leaned in to give Will a kiss.
"Geez guys, I'm here you know," Mike joked, trying to lift the mood. Will chuckled softly, making you grin.
