The party and you had already gotten around most of the neighborhood in Hawkins. You peered into your bag and realized most of the candy was nougat.

"If I get another Three Musketeers, I'm going to kill myself," Lucas said with a look of disappointment on his face.

"Chill with the over-exaggeration, it's just candy," you said to him, laughing at his seriousness. He rolled his eyes and gave you a sarcastic smile. The boys continued to argue as you distinguished something move in the bushes. You furrowed your eyebrows, looking closer to get a better look.

"I swear I could eat like, a whole bowl of nou-" Dustin was cut off by a figure in a mask jumping out of the bushes. The boys all synchronized in high-pitched screams, which sent you into laughter. The unknown person took off their mask, revealing themselves as the infamous Mad Max. She joined you in laughter, making banter of the boys. The way Lucas and Dustin looked at Max, with attraction and adoration, you knew they would do anything for her.

"Hey, are you guys coming or not? I heard we should hit up Loch Nora, that's where all the rich people live right?" Lucas and Dustin quickly chased after her and Will and you following shortly, leaving Mike at the back. He groaned and stomped over to them.

It was getting late as you, the party, and Max finished making the rounds on Loch Nora. Max, Dustin, and Lucas lead the pack as the two made a failed attempt at flirting with Max, who was more concerned with her loot. You, Mike, and Will were trailing, and were trading some of your candy. As you handed Mike a Reese's for a Hershey's bar, you noticed Will was no longer by your side. "You guys!!" You shouted frantically, "Where is Will?"

Everyone glanced around, and there was no sight of Will.
