Joji's P.O.V

I glanced at the girl beside me, gripping my hand in hers. She blushes lightly and rolls her eyes, hiding her face a little. She has an embarrassed smile on her face. I watch her snuggle deeper into my hoodie (that she's basically claimed now) as we continue to stroll through the park.

"This is so stupid." She sighs, but never-the-less smiles cutely. It brings a smile to my own face. She's adorable. After being with her for a while, I learned that 'that's so stupid' means that it's too much emotion and affection for (Y/n)'s small, cold heart to handle. I hear that phrase twice a day now.

(Y/n) looks around us. "What are we doing at the park at like 11? We finna gonna get mugged and then we finna goin' die because you're a dumbass, Jojo." I give her a look when she brings up that fucking nickname. She insisted on using a nickname, even though it was just a one letter difference. I laugh while pulling her along. We're about to go up a hill.

"I'm serious Jojo." (Y/n) says, I turn back to her. "You'll see. You'll see." We climb up the hill. I gesture to the grass, (Y/n) gives me a salty look, but she sits down.

I sit down next to her, cuddling closer. I point upward, she gives me a confused glance but then looks up. She then smiles. I glance up too, the stars all shine brighter when you're in the darkest part of the park. It's beautiful, reminds me of (Y/n).

"You're the biggest dumbass I know, but I wouldn't trade you for anything, Jojo." (Y/n) laughs, I hold her close to me. Not wanting this to ever go away.

"Don't leave me ever, by the way," I say to her, she turns around.

"I won't." (Y/n) promises me.
