His dark brown wavy hair was piled up on his head and topped by his black top hat, errant strands of his dark locks hanging all about. His green eyes twinkled mischievously as he looked down at them all. "Don't fret." He said. "You're not going to die. Yet."

The door to the store opened then and a pack of Oompa Loompa soldiers came storming in.

"No, we've got such big plans for all of you!" He continued as the Oompa Loompas surrounded them. May watched one of them poke their rifle barrel into what looked like Wesley's back and look to the young stranger, who seemed to be the leader of this expedition. He shook his head. "No, no. Don't kill him."

The Oompa Loompa gave him a look, and the young man sighed. "You saw him leap on that smoke bomb didn't you? I've read his file; he's a medic with a code. I believe Dr. Kordata has use for someone of his caliber."

If May could have screamed, she would have. Her tormented gaze met Sadessa's. Dr. Kordata? He's still ALIVE?!! Both girls shared a look of horror. Their most hated enemy...No! How?!

"Go on then." The young man was saying with a dismissive gesture as he looked at his pocket watch. "Roll them out of here if you have to, just get them in the truck, I'm on a time schedule."

Though she was internally screaming inside, she could do nothing as they stripped them of their weapons. Then one Oompa Loompa grabbed her by the shoulders, the other by her feet, and began to haul her and her friends out.

She caught sight of Gerald's frozen face to see that he had gone as white as a sheet. May's eyes widened in fear. He looked like he was going to pass out or die! Could his wounds have been that bad?

"Fuck!" Wesley managed to rasp when one of the Oompa Loompas carrying him accidentally dropped his upper half when coming out of the building.

They were all being treated pretty decently though when compared to what the Oompa Loompas were doing to Wonka. Either because he was too heavy, or just because they hated him, the Oompa Loompas chose to drag him out of the store and over all the broken glass. Then when they made it outside, they gave up on that too and resorted to kicking him over, rolling him across the asphalt and concrete.

May was so scared. She thought she'd never been more scared in her life. Who was this guy? Why would a human betray his own kind like this? And he was going by Willy Wonka? What the fuck was going on? What was going to happen to them?

"Don't look so down!" The young man in the black suit with tails was saying. "You're all getting quite the honor. The illustrious Gloobenstomper, leader of the Oompa Loompas, has requested that you be captured and executed for his personal enjoyment." He motioned with his black Kallos III to the bloody mess and remains of the other hunters as they passed it. "A much more dignified death than your friends got." May scrunched her eyes shut and tried not to think about the coppery tang in the air that clung to her throat. She pushed the thoughts of Selma, Hartley, Manu, and Lillian from her mind. She just couldn't...couldn't bear...not now...no, no, no...Tears were flowing freely from her closed eyes.

Only when she felt herself get dropped to the asphalt did she open her eyes again.

"Ah yes, and you." The stranger was saying as the Oompa Loompas dragged Yeltsin before him. Thank God! He's not dead! May thought. "What's the name you've taken for yourself? Yeltsin?" The distaste was clear in the stranger's voice when he spoke. He brought up his rifle and rested the end of the barrel against Yeltsin's forehead. "You've turned your back on the cause. Deserted us; fought against us." His lip curled up in disdain. "Apostate. I ought to kill you right now."

"No!" May heard Sadessa rasp from somewhere out of her view while the O.L. soldiers chained her wrists and ankles together.

The stranger spared Sadessa a quick glance before looking back down at the Oompa Loompa in front of him. Yeltsin was on his knees but his dark eyes were full of fire as he stared up at the stranger, not showing an ounce of fear or hesitation. The stranger scowled. "You'll get your deserts later. When I have you ruthlessly beaten and then executed in front of all the Oompa Loompas, as an example to them." He smacked Yeltsin on the head with the barrel of his gun and then motioned for the O.L. soldiers to take him away.

Relieved, May was finally able to breathe again. In fact, she was beginning to regain a little feeling in her upper extremities. The gas was wearing off. Not that it did her any good though. She was still just as helpless, and now chained, when the Oompa Loompas began heaving her up the ramp and into the back of the 18-wheeler that had just pulled up.

One by one, they chained their arm cuffs to the ceiling of the trailer and hoisted them up so they hung with their arms over their heads.

At last, there was only one more person to be dragged in, Wonka. As they heaved him inside, the stranger appeared at the open end of the trailer. The Oompa Loompas strained to hoist Wonka up to the ceiling, but Wonka's eyes were pinned on the young man at the entrance.

"Miles!" Wonka suddenly managed to cry.

"Excuse me?" The young man said with a raise to the one eyebrow of his that was mussed up by a scar.

"Miles..." Wonka's voice was raspy and the cords in his neck were sticking out, but that didn't stop him. "It's you...isn't it?"

"I'm sorry Mr. Turner," Miles said, looking pleasantly apologetic. "I don't know who you mean. Enjoy the ride. It won't be long."

And with that, he leapt up and pulled down the sliding door, closing them in.
