Recap: Alices dad dies, and Scarlett just finds out.

My jaw dropped. I didn't expect him to die! I thought for sure he would recover quickly, that it was just another episode.

"He died?"

That has got to be the stupidest thing I could have said, but I said it. She nodded sadly, not one tear escaping her electric blue eyes.

"Wow, that was....sudden," I continued.

"Yep. And this emotionless buisness lady comes over and tells me I need to move out. She didn't even let me sleep!" She said. I suggested she move in with me, because my mom is like the mom she never had. She accepted, and told the clearly peeved buisness lady before bolting out of the room. I followed her out and we got in my car.

We had just walked in the door when my mom pulls Alice into a tight hug. I explained everything and my mom smiled.

"We can turn the guest room into your bedroom."

Alice smiled greatfully and replied, "Ok, thank you so much. I'm exhausted. I'm going to go to bed."

My mom spoke again, "I'm going to swing by your house and pick up all your stuff." Alice disapeared upstairs and my mom left through the front door.

I took this as an opportunity to text Erick.

"Hey, I'm free now." A little while later my phone played a little jingle and I read the text. "Ok. I'll be there at 2:00." I responded with my address and looked at the time. 1:30. I spent the next half hour changing and freshining up.

Just as I finished doing my makeup the doorbell rang. I bounced down the stairs and opened the door. Last time I saw him I was fuming, I never really got a good look at him. His brown hair was slightly spiked up. His eyes were a shade that was just a bit more green than blue. He was wearing a red t-shirt over dark blue jeans. He was definitely not bad looking. He tilted his head and spoke in that adorable Irish accent.

"Are we going inside, or chilling out here?" I rolled my eyes and let him in.

He plopped down on the couch and I offered him a drink. He shook his head and I sat down next to him with a Coke in my hand.

"So...." I said.

He started speaking, "Listen, love. I could be insane for coming right out with this...but I know what you are, and I'm clairsentient too, along with Alice." I must have been quiet for a while, because he spoke again. "Its pretty rare to have so many in one area. I have only met one other, and that's when I was still a wee boy of 10 back in me home land of Ireland."

I started giggling.

"What's so funny?" He asked me, terribly confused.

"You said wee," I smiled. "Ok. We have the same abilities. Cool," I said.

He nodded and a mischievious grin spread across my face. I left a note on the table and grabbed Erick's hand, pulling him off the couch.

"Come on, let's go!" I said as we ran to my car.

Erick P.O.V

I put my phone in my pocket before I ran out to my car. A little while later I pulled into Scarlett's driveway. I walked up to the door and started leaning in the doorway. I pushed the doorbell, emitting a loud ringing sound. About a minute later the door swung open, revealing Scarlett, looking as beautiful as ever.

Her honey colored hair cascaded over her shoulders and down her arms. Her forest green eyes were full of so many emotions; they were hard to read, even for me. She was wearing regular blue jeans with a green v-neck shirt, making her eyes pop. I came out of my trance and tilted my head, asking, "Are we going inside, or going to chill on the porch?"

She rolled her eyes, and let me in. She offered me a drink before sitting down, a cold Coke in her hand.

"So...." she said, Californian enfused in her American accent.

I replied, rather quickly, "Listen, love. I could be insane for coming right out with this...but I know what you are, and I'm clairsentient too, along with Alice." She was quiet for a while, I hope I didn't freak her out. I tried to fix the silence, fearing I'd only make it worse. "It's pretty rare to have so many in one area. I have only met one other, and that's when I was still a wee boy of 10 back in me home land of Ireland."

Then she started laughing! I was horribly confused. How was that funny? I finally spoke my thoughts.

 "What's so funny?" I asked.

"You said wee," she explained. I guess she found my dialect funny? I smiled, and she started speaking again. "Ok. We have the same abilities. Cool."

I nodded and she wrote something on a piece of paper and placed it on the table as a mischevious grin played at her lips.

She grabbed my hand while saying, "Come on, let's go!"

She pulled me to her car and I got in the passenger side.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

She smiled even brighter and replied, "It's a surprise! When do you have to be home?" I winced at the question. I guess she should know the truth. She took a right turn and I started explaining.

"I have no curfew. I have no family in America. My mom and dad tried forcing me to marry a girl I had no feelings for. It got really bad, and me refusing tore my family apart. The shouting, cursing, physical and mental pain became to much. I packed my bags one night and used some of the money I had to by a plane ticket. Somehow I settled down here. We were a rich family, so I had a lot of money. I bought myself a house and got a job. I had enough money to pay for a taxi until I turned 16 and got myself a car. I'm now 17 and perfectly happy living life the way I do."

She stared at me, her intent gaze full of worry, sypathy, and awe. "Wow." was all she said. A little while later she spoke, "So you don't care when you get home?" she asked.

"Nope," I replied, popping the 'p'. About an hour and a half later she paid for parking and took a spot close to the exit. I finally figured out where we were. "I have always wanted to come here!" I said.

She smiled happily and took my hand in hers as we walked towards the entrance. "I'm glad your happy." She said, and looked up at me.

I wanted to kiss her then and there, but refrained. It would ruin any relationship we already had. We waited in line for a while, and Scarlett was leaning on my arm until it was our turn. She pulled out her wallet to pay for a pass, but I paid for her. She has done so much already. She smiled and we walked in. I have never fallen so hard or fast for someone. She walked in front of me, pulling me into another line. I looked up, and my eyes widened.

"Absolutely not." I said.
