Just wanted to say something: I've been seeing this post around everywhere saying that "Charming and Snow had Katherine" and that "Belle and Rumple had Cora. YOU GUYS WILL BE JUST FINE OKAY?"! Personally, I think we shouldn't be okay!!! I mean did David ever love Katherine? And don't even get me started on Cora and Rumple... Robin loved Marion at some point and I'm just FREAKING OUT!!! Why did they just have to leave it there??? Couldn't they have given at least one other person an unhappy ending as well??? Then I wouldn't feel so bad... So yeah... just felt like I had to say something.
Emma knew that Snow wouldn't have letten go of the situation but did she really have to shoot her a billion questions the moment after she woke up?
"How did it go?"
Emma noticed the look of sincere worry on her mother's face.
"She almost killed Henry! Mum, she's lost! Again..." She shudders as she grabs her jacket.
"So where are you going?" Snow stares, confuesd.
"We have to talk to her again, don't we?"
Snow smiled at her daughter. How proud she was of her.

Regina takes in another beautiful easy breath. Every breath was exactly like the first one she took after she pulled her heart out: easy. But she could still feel that hole. No one knew exactly what it felt like without a heart in your chest, except for Regina. She had to have been the one to have pulled out her heart the record number of times. Her mother had lived her whole life without a heart, but Regina had lived both with and without it. She knew pain and she knew emptiness.
Her phone rings and she swings to stare at it suspiciously.
"Hello?"
"Regina!"
Hearing Emma's voice Regina's tone deepens. "What do you want?"
"I think... I think something's wrong with Henry..." She's gasping and Regina feels a pang in her chest.
She looks down at the origin of the pain and stares confused. It's not meant to hurt without a heart.
"What's wrong with him?" She grabs her jacket and strides towards the door purposefully. Emma was his mother, but maybe this problem took more than a mother. Dark magic, perhaps?

Regina races to the town centre. She sees the clock tower and her pace quickens. And then she sees something strange.
"Henry?" She runs over to him and grabs his arms. "Are you okay?"
He hugs her and smiles. "Yes, now that you're here."
She holds him there for a second smiling but looking up behind his shoulder she sees Emma. "Emma? What was there a-"
She suddenly pulls back from Henry. There was no problem. She didn't say it aloud.
"Regina," Emma has a weird expression pasted across her face. It was an expression Regina had never seen her wear. It was a mixture of determination and fear; maybe even guilt?
"Emma, are you-" She pulls herself to her feet as Emma walks towards her with the same strange expression. Regina looks around now noticing the crowd of townspeople watching them silently. They seemed to be staring at her in particular, like they were hiding behind their concentrated faces their loathing and hatred for her.
"Regina," Emma's voice was different. She sounded more like... Regina. "I want you to know that I didn't mean to do this to you."
Suddenly Regina's expression dropped. She stared past Emma into the crowd and there he was. He was standing there hand on his son's shoulder, an arm placed on his shoulder with a touch of protectiveness. An arm belonging to his 'dead' wife. Regina gasps, her once steady breaths becoming more irregular.
Regina started to step backwards away from the crowd but with every step away from them they seemed to get closer. And all she could see was the beautiful face of the man she had known for what seemed to be a little amount of time but that she loved with her whole being. This face wore an expression of sorrow and she could swear she saw disappointment. And that thought just scared the life out of her.
"I didn't mean to do it to you, I just wanted to save someone's life and you still went off. You need to control yourself!" Emma continued to walk towards Regina, her voice not any louder than it needed to be. "Because you can hurt people. You can hurt people when you lose it."
Regina felt like she was living a nightmare. She didn't want to use magic and her fingers weren't tingling with the need to use it. She just kept walking back petrified of what everyone might do to her.
"Last night, you almost really hurt both of us, Regina."
Regina turns to Henry. He stands on the other side of the street left behind by this crowd of people following Regina towards the clocktower. He was the only one that wasn't following her, the only one watching her with an encouraging smile. But the smile wasn't enough to get her confidence back.
"We can't let you hurt anyone, Regina. You need to listen to me."
Regina feels the locked door of the library behind her. No where else to go. So she just stands there staring at Emma's unusually frightening expression as it gets closer and closer to her. "I am listening..." Her voice is weak and quiet.
"Regina," Emma's less than a metre away now. "We can't let you hurt anyone. And the only way to do that is to..."
Emma now looked like she was battling with herself, like her mind was battling with her heart. Regina knew what that looked like: battling with yourself. She had seen it far too many times in herself.
And Regina suddenly gasps as Emma's hand plunges into her chest, grabbing for her heart. "Is not to let you hurt yourself."
Emma's expression changes as she pulls her hand back out, with no heart in her clasp.
"Emma!" They both hear Snow's distressed scream but they don't turn in the direction of the voice. They just stare; Emma at Regina and Regina past her into the crowd again, at that gorgeous face.
"Regina," Emma's confident tone was replaced with a weak rasp. "Where is it..." Her voice fades out.
Regina continues to stare but this time past him and into nowhere. "Too late."
She can feel everyone staring at her but she couldn't have cared less. At least she was free of that terribly dark and painful heart.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw a figure walk forward. She knew who it was but only listened to the voice. The voice that she wanted to hear all day, for the rest of her life. That voice that made her feel... Amazing. But no matter how amazing the voice was, she didn't turn her head and her expression remained lifeless.
"Regina, what have you done?"
...Scar Tissue...
