Chapter 4 Evocative

Flashback

"Park Jimin!" Amy shouted as she waved at me as she saw me seating by the bench.

I waved back smiling.

This is one of my guilty pleasures. Watching Amy as she gracefully move with the music. How she catches the battons without looking. How her body bends as she control the movement of the ribbons.

Her passion rubbed on me. I decided to pursue dancing. Because everytime I see her during her Gymnastics routine... I became enamoured.

I lost weight.

Gain some muscles.

...and before I knew, the girls in our school took a notice on me.

But she still never fails to amaze me...

"Let's go home together..." I told Amy after her practice.

I took her bag which she refused to give first. But eventually gave in with a smirk.

"Don't you have a schedule today?"

"Schedule with what?"

"Jinri told me you have a daily schedule at home." Amy said giggling.

"Aish. That kid..."

"Let it out, what do you want to tell me? you wouldn't wait for that long so you could just walk me home."

I actually could. Watch her all day and never get bored. But this time, there's really something I wanted to talk about with her.

"It makes me feel bad that Jinri knows what I'm doing. I'm scared it would happen to her you know. Some stupid guy screws her over and then leave her."

"Then be a better model. You're dad is not always at home. She always sees you. You determine what her image of a relationship will be."

"So right now, her image of a relationship is ...."

"Get your self a proper girlfriend... so she could see how girls should be treated."

"... I can't believe I'm considering finding a girlfriend just for my sister. Where can I find someone... she must be nice... and my sister should like her which is almost impossible."

"... sometimes you don't have to look to find love. It finds you." Amy told him as she look at him intently.

"Yeah, or you know... just look for a girlfriend...one of my classmates might be willing."

Amy looks disheartened.

"Don't be like that Jimin. Find someone you love, someone who loves you. Put yourself first before others. Don't it for your sister." Amy smiled.

Jimin sits in the pavement in front of her house. Amy followed suit.

"... you're still nervous about something." She says.

"It will be our practical exam tomorrow. I'm scared to make a mistake and have everyone laugh at me." Jimin said as he tapped his thighs.
